One word describes this property....WOW all in one resort never had to leave, extremely maintained property. Celebrated our 33 yr wedding anniversary here and will be back with our family. This place is the kind of place all of our family must see to enjoy ... pictures do not do justice. Food was great, beer great, cocktails great, staff extremely friendly!!

A bit more explanation about the property for the first timers

Overall, a very good experience. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and cozy. They have everything you need. The only thing I would have liked is for massages to have a discount for guests, not just the spa services. I suggest booking massages as soon as possible, as there are limited slots and they fill up very quickly. Another thing is that there should be a shuttle service from the hotel to the brunch/brewery, as it's quite a distance. There should also be a closer entrance for guests instead of having to walk to the parking lot. But overall, a very nice experience. Everything was clean and the staff was very kind. I will definitely return.

Hotel Hercules is a gem of an experience! it is by far the greatest example I've experienced of repurposing something old with historical, architectural importance into something new and fresh while maintaining authenticity! There is plenty to enjoy, including three restaurants, artisan shops, the heated pool and spa amenities, the beer garden, and dancing and live performances on scheduled days. I look forward to my next visit!

the staff were so nice

Incredible stay at Hotel Hercules. The whole property is beautifully designed, the staff was great, just one of the most amazing hotel experiences ever—especially for beer lovers!

Unfortunately our room had multiple problems. The bedside lights were broken and the overhead light was too bright. We asked reception to fix it and they brought large bright bulbs to replace them. We had to put towels over them to dim them. There was a drain smell in the room to which the maintenance came and sprayed febreze or some other spray to ‘cover’ the smell and it left the room with a strong chemical odor. And lastly the aircon unit was broken. It didn’t properly cool down the room. This is the third time we’ve stayed and each time we choose balcony or ‘view’ and we’ve never had a balcony or a view. On a high note the spa area is very enjoyable and so is the restaurant onsite.

The rooms are very clean. The staff is very good. The spa in the pool is the best I’ve ever seen. This is by far a five-star hotel and whenever I come to Mexico, this is where I will stay. I love my stay here.

We had a great time, we just wish the property became pet friendly/ created a section for guest to bring pets

This hotel is very loud. There were guests, children, and staff walking by our window at early hours of the morning. Sounds of staff dragging equipment by the window were loud. Property is also open to non-guests, so amenities seem few and not exclusive. Rooms are overpriced for the noise, and we had to pay separately to access the spa.
