I was staying in Lidingo again - just one night. The Foresta hotel is perfectly located. Don't let the 1960s facade outside put you off - they have done the inside up very well. Terrace bar outside is pleasant with decent weather, with loads of seating inside when not. The 6th floor restaurant is excellent. Be sure to use that - and take in the view of Stockholm. Not much parking at the hotel, though. Check-in is at the bar through the entrance. Nice staff. The new spa opens soon, apparently. Recommended.

I was in Stockholm in business trip. Short stay at Villa Foresta. The outside of the hotel looks dated, but do not let that put you off. It’s had a wonderful refurb on the inside. Check in is at the lobby bar. Drinks out on the terrace on a nice day, or inside st sample chairs & tables. A nice comfortable room to sleep in. An excellent restaurant and service up on 6th floor. Really good food. Breakfast is the usual spread on the ground floor, in restaurant at back bar. No negatives. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting family in the area. The location is convenient as it is close to shops and easy transportation to the city centre. The property is beautifully decorated—room was comfortable and quiet and the view over the Lidingö bridge and the inlet was fantastic. Staff were friendly and accommodating when I requested a late checkout. Breakfast was very nice and had everything needed. Highly recommend this excellent hotel— will definitely be back again.

Great hotel overlooking water. We stayed on Lidingo but am sure you could stay here and ‘do’ Stockholm. Friendly staff, distinctive decor and great views. Breakfast good too

On a Saturday the restaurant was supposed to be open. It was not and empty and deserted. Shower way too small

Frukost bra och lagommed allt

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious room. Great food and excellent breakfast. Only draw back was that it was a queen size bed and not two single beds. So when I move so did my wife involuntary and vise versa.

Mysigt hotell i sin helhet. Restaurangen VS var både god mat och gott bemötande. Men restaurang delen inne på hotellet var inte lika bra, tog lång tid att plocka bort från borden och inte så alert personal… Frukosten var bra men inte mer, kunde inte få varm mjölk till mitt morgonkaffe, vilket jag tycker är ett måste till frukostbordet.

Slitna rum men med viss charm. Hade behövt en renovering

Hotellet manglet innsjekkingsdisk. Man går rett inn i en bar! Bartenderen var svært hjelpsom. Frokospersonalet var topp( jeg er matallergiker). Rommet var stort med utsikt til nabohuset og Lidingöbroen. Men for noen farger: mørk olivengrønne vegger, mørk skogsgrønn heldekkingsmatte. Lite plass til toilettsaker på badet ellers helt ok. Mitt totalinntrykk av interiøret, farger og møbler er at Villa Foresta er et hotell designet av eldre menn for menn! Det er synd med tanke på Swedish design med lette og luftige møbler. Jeg har forøvrig tenkt å bo der igjen nå som jeg vet at bussens nummer fra Ropsten er 238.

Ett helt fantastiskt hotell! Vi möttes av trevlig personal och hade en bra upplevelse hela vistelsen. Loungen var mysig att spendera kvällen i med god dryck och trevlig atmosfär. Frukosten var den bästa vi ätit på hotell. Så tråkigt att vi bara stannade en natt. Vi kommer tillbaka!
