Absolutely miserable stay at Pension Miramar. It was hot in San Sebastián & way hotter in this room. No AC & it was 104f outside, to match inside. Couldn’t sleep because of the suffocating heat in the room & when we took a shower, it was like a rainforest in the room, everything damp. This “room” was not cheap & should invest in AC units, shampo, conditioner & body soap. Will not stay again. Thank you to the Property Manager for the tower fan, but not nearly good enough.

It was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was also very responsive. Some things to bare in mind: It is virtual check in only - you need to do this beforehand in order to receive the code to get in It overlooks a busy road of bars - hiwever it tended to quiet down by around 11pm. It is very hot, there is no aircon, but there is a fan. Finally, the bathroom is in a seperate room down the corridor, which I wasn’t expecting, accessible via a key.

The staff was very helpful, replying to messages quickly. The location was amazing, right in the middle of old town, surrounded by shops and dining options. Also, within walking distance of the river and beaches. It had a decent amount of room for luggage, etc. It had a whole kitchen, which we did not use. But, it also had a washing machine which we did use and it was fantastic. They also provided a drying rack to hang dry clothes after. The only things we were missing was there was no a/c, but the did provide a fan. Also, because of the restaurants so close, it was extremely noisy until 1 or 2am and so the doors/windows could not be opened for cool/fresh air because of the noise. Other than that, it was great!

Nice to have a washing machine but no dryer makes it challenging. The room does not have Air Conditioning only fans. I Would avoid stays in the summer.

Pension Miramar proved to be an excellent choice for our three-night stay in San Sebastian. We opted for the studio room, which featured a spacious double bed and a en-suite bathroom. Added conveniences included a basic kitchen, a large fridge, and a washing machine; although we didn't use these amenities, the kitchen appeared well-equipped for anyone wishing to self-cater. The accommodation itself was spotless and provided a comfortable retreat after busy days exploring the city. Overall, Pension Miramar was ideal and Eneko and his family were fabulous hosts ☺

Great service

Perfect central location, greeting and communication with the owner was timely, friendly, and extremely helpful. We knew being in a central location it would be lively and possibly noisy outside, no complaints. Michelin restaurants easily available within a block of the property and the beach 2 blocks away

The staff were very responsive and welcoming, and the location is very convenient being right in the centre of the old town and a stone's throw from Ganbara and many other pintxo places. The hotel staff gave us many recommendations for where to eat and what to do in the city, which was great. Things to be aware of: Depending on the room you're in, it can be fairly loud into the evening and you can definitely hear when other people are going into/leaving their rooms. If you stay out late, this should be less of a problem. Also, one of the rooms has a closet area and washroom that is private, but separate from the bedroom, so we had to leave the bedroom to get to the washroom, so just double check which room you have when you're making the reservation!

The host was great and made us feel very welcome and provided recommendations and clean and well looked after apartment

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec salle de bain privative étant donné que nous avons un bébé de 3 ans. La chambre était parfaite, très propre et très bien aménagé. La pension est très bien situé, nous sommes tombé en période de carnaval pour notre plus grand plaisir, il y avait effectivement pas mal de bruit mais nous avons quand même pu dormir. Les hôtes sont très gentils et très serviable, pour le prix, l’emplacement et le service c’est une pépite!

owner ip just so nice, and also the placb has very good access to the bar area. I would recommend this place.
