13:45-17:30 Pick-up from hotel: 13:45 – 14:25. Tour starts at 14:30. Places to visit: Royal Selangor Pewter Visitor Centre – approximately 30 minutes Batik Factory – approximately 30 minutes Batu Caves – approximately 40 minutes Transfer back to hotel: 17:30.

What You’ll Experience

Tour begins with pickup from your central Kuala Lumpur hotel and a drive through the outskirts of KL along ‘Ambassador Row,' passing the Istana Sharif Ali palace and Malay villages as you make your way to the Royal Selangor Pewter, the largest modern pewter factory in the world, known for high quality products and good craftsmanship. During the tour of the factory, you will have the chance to learn the different processes to make pewter products. Aside from that you will also visit a batik factory before proceeding to the limestone hills of Batu Caves where you will climb a flight of 272 steps that leads to the sacred Hindu temple cave where the shrine of Hindu deity, Lord Murugah lies.
