Located in Tamparuli about an hour’s drive from Kota Kinabalu City, the beautiful St. Veronica’s Hill overlooks the rustic Tamparuli town and surrounding villages at 278 meters above sea level. In this activity, you will be joining a leisure hike to reach at the peak of the hill. The panoramic view of the sunrise is worth the hike as you get to see golden rays of sunlight scattered all over the land with Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop. Tour Itinerary

04:30-05:15 Pick up from your hotel lobby and leisure drive to Tamparuli.

05:15-06:00 Upon arrival at the starting point, begin the trek to the summit of St Veronica’s Hill, also known as Bukit Perahu. Along the way, you will pass a total of 14 crosses planted by St. Phillip Roman Catholic Church of Tamparuli.

06:00-07:00 Enjoy a panoramic sight at the summit with the breathtaking backdrop of the majestic Mount Kinabalu and the shimmering river snaking past the rustic Tamparuli Town.

07:00-08:00 Descent down from the peak.
•
08:00-09:00 Upon reaching back to the starting point, transfer to Tamparuli Town. Take a walk on the famous “Jambatan Tamparuli” suspension bridge, and visit the local market. Have breakfast at one of the local food stalls. After breakfast, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
