Zoo Negara is a non-governmental organization that was built in order to create the very first local zoo for Malaysians. First opened in 1963 in Selangor, Malaysia, it has now been well known around the world. Housing for over 5000 animals with over 450 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish from all around the world. 

Zoo Negara is actually known as the National Zoo of Malaysia. Having the massive area of a 110-hectare zoo, Zoo Negara houses several areas where you can enjoy with your friends and family, from the Savannah Walk area, where you would be able to see typical African animals such as ostriches and sable antelopes.
