Almost forgotten and left behind by the passing of time, the lost art of Thai traditional puppet has been revived by Master Sakorn Yangkhieosod (named the National Artist of Thailand in Performing Arts in 1996) and developed further by blending a variety of Thai fine and applied arts. Through the elaborate dance of the puppeteers, these puppets will come to live and tell the stories from Thai classical literature. Audiences around the world have been impressed and spellbound by this show, and now you can experience the show at its exclusive theatre at Asiatique the Riverfront. The show has already gained international recognition by winning the global awards including "The Best Traditional Performance Award" in 2006 and "The Best Performance Award" in 2008 from the World Puppet Festival.
