Kampung Gajah is an area in Perak Tengah District, Perak and has a population of around 7,693 people and covers an area of 59.57 km2.The mukim is also home to Perak's 11th highest peak (1522 metres), Gunung Jelak, which is home to a small Kelantanese-Javanese population. The historical complex was built in 1990 by the initiative of Tan Seri Ramli Ngah Talib, then Perak Menteri Besar.
