There is free airport Wi-Fi and no air bridges, so in the event of rain, the airline will supply umbrellas for the walk to the plane. By Boat

Visitor may take ferry to Langkawi. Langkawi Ferry operates fast air-conditioning boats from Kuala Perlis (75 minutes), Kuala Kedah (105 minutes), Penang (165 minutes) and Satun (75 minutes). Bookings can be made online, but the ticket needs to be printed out. This can be done at the terminal for RM1 per ticket. The terminal is at Kuah Jetty, near Eagle square, in Langkawi.
