The accomodation was booked for a family of 2 adults and one 4year old and it was sufficient for us for 6-7days stay. The property has lift so it was easy to stay on higher floors with stroller. The underground station is 10min walk and bus stops are 3min walk away. The reception is available 24*7. Basic toiletries were provided like shampoo, towels.... Cleaning of the room is not provided unless explicitly asked for. Laundry room is available however you need to get your own detergent which is fair enough. The public transport being reachable was a major advantage for us as we relied on it for our stay. Grocery store is near the underground station so also quite reachable. Overall: would recommend the accomodation for location. Amenities were as expected for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at the Roland Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. It was great that we were able to check-in early especially after coming into London in the early morning from an overnight train ride. Great location and close to a subway station with lots of restaurants in walking distance. I only wish that our room had better air conditioning even with a ceiling fan, it was still hot in the room. I would recommemd this hotel.

Great location with busses, underground, shops and cafes/restaurants just around the corner. People at reception were very friendly. Room was clean and functional for a family of 3. The bed was too soft for me, so I slept on the sofa bed, which was better. We had brought sleep masks, as I had read in other reviews that the blinds don't cover the entire window. The room was quite warm, so we had to take the duvets out if the covers, but then it was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The only thing missing in the room was a piece of hand soap; we had to use shower gel instead to wash our hands. Overall a very pleasant stay and definitely value for money!

We’ve stayed here 3x, felt this was enough to drop a review. It’s a decent hotel for the price, the kitchenette is a nice thing to have in spendy London and the room is spacious. The bed is fine, pillows could use some work (far too flat). In general, the place could use a little updating but if you aren’t super precious it’s fine. The rooms would benefit from a few small “comforts” - actual hand soap, a dry rack + cloth for dishes, a few more sets of silverware/dishes, etc. - that sort of small stuff would really make it feel more comfy for guests and doesn’t cost much for the hotel to provide. We’ll likely stay again at some point, the location is great and convenient for food, grocery, and transit.

The kitchenette was stocked with all cooking utensils, stove and fridge, but there was no cleaning sponge to wash dishes or a drying cloth/tea towel to dry off the dishes. Our stay here was absolutely brilliant. We arrived at 7 A.M. and we were able to check straight in which was so appreciated after a long night of travel. The property needs more cleaning ladies for the hallways. Often the hallways were and the elevator were not as clean as they should be. They need to think about upgrading there extremely old elevators. But their location is the best.most reception people specially the lady are great. I stayed here for 2 nights from June 25th-27th. The room was spacious and had what I needed. The free laundry was a big bonus as I was on Day 8 and 9 of a 12 day trip and could use some fresh clothing. If I had one complaint, I was on the ground floor near the reception and the noise from people coming and going was a bit much especially late at night and early morning. But overall I would stay here again maybe just away from the reception area.

The location is great – just an 8-minute walk from Gloucester Road Station, and the building has a gym, sauna, and jacuzzi. However, the apartment itself and the service leave a lot to be desired. The kitchen is very basic and needs improvement. The TV didn’t work, and there was no working phone – I couldn’t reach reception when needed. The floor was dirty, and the window shade didn’t block the sun at all, making it hard to rest. Guests are expected to take their own trash outside the building, which isn’t convenient. The gym is outdated and could use better equipment. Customer service was disappointing. When my son arrived, they refused to give him the key even though I was on the phone with them and had already provided my ID. Some of the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional zero trust Overall, a good location but poor service and facilities.. but it good price when high seasons.

It’s a reasonable place to spend a few days, the kitchenette is suitable and the rooms are somewhat comfortable. I was initially in room 112 directly above the smoking area (noise and smoke) but the team were happy to move me to a different room. Pillows were of low quality, but not terrible. Would happily stay again, but would possibly choose somewhere else first.
