Bob W Turku City Centre

Loved this place! Will definitely stay again. Everything one needs while traveling is here.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Great location too.

Really great apartment style hotel with an excellent location right in the city centre. The apartment was well appointed with a small kitchen area with a small table and chair. Few items of crockery and cutlery provided. Good sized bed and plenty of storage space. Decent sized bathroom again with plenty of space to put toiletries etc. Only a couple of minor gripes - a Polaroid camera was available in the room but discovered it had no film in it - unfortunately only found this out just as we were about to check out! Luggage lockers were available in a separate room at the top of the building. However there were only about 12 of them and they appeared to be permanently occupied so not much use to us. There is no hotel desk so check in is via an App with an access code sent to mobile for room and building access but worked seamlessly so no issues at all. All in all an excellent base for a few days in Turku

This was our first time staying at a Bob W hotel and we will do it again. Very comfortable stay. It was hot in Turku and the A/C worked great. It was nice to have access to a kitchenette and be able to do laundry.

It's an interesting concept and well executed. There's no front desk or lobby; instead there's good automated communications via email, WhatsApp, etc. My little studio was pretty nice. I especially liked the locally sourced furniture and other items. But ultimately I didn't love my one night stay. The room are nice, but the building is older. There's a single, smallish elevator that can't handle the traffic when the property is busy. Lines frequently form. Not too bad to take the stairs, if you are on a lower floor and without much luggage, but if the opposite, be prepared to wait. The automated luggage room doesn't have enough lockers to store your stuff after check-out completely safely. If you want to open a window for fresh air, you need a special tool, but it only exists in a common area and might not be there when you want it -- so at least two extra trips out of your room just to try to open the window. Bob W. stands for "best of both worlds" and, while there are many nice things about this innovative property, I think I prefer a more traditional hotel.

Our room at Bob W was great and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved all of the little extras, like yoga mats and a free subscription to online yoga.

This was my first visit in Bob W, but not the last :) It took me a bit of effort and time to learn and apply the non-key system. Because of the many e-mails from hotels.com and Bow W I did not find the link to the guest area easily (and I couldn't find it via the Hotels.com app either.) But after I fond the e-mail with the link everything worked fine. I especially appreciate the frequent communication by Bob W via Whatsapp making sure eveything was fine with my stay.

Exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well thought through amenities. Make sure to read about parking because it is not visible and you may think it is hard to park.

Great location, clean and comfortable room. We appreciated the free luggage storage room. We didn’t receive our code to get into our room, but customer service fixed the issue quickly.

The surrounding area in Turku added even more to the experience. With cafés, riverside paths, and just the right balance of urban buzz and green corners, it felt like a place you could truly settle into. It actually reminded me a lot of Tapiola in Espoo—another neighborhood that blends convenience and calm in a way that’s hard to find. Both areas are walkable, well-designed, and full of character, offering easy access to culture, food, and nature without. In short, Bob W Turku delivers boutique hospitality with a warm local feel, and if you’ve ever enjoyed a stroll through Tapiola, you’ll feel right at home in this part of Turku too. I

Excellent location and fast digital service. Our room was not properly cleaned before checkin and we hadn't received enough sheets and had to pick up the missing sheet ourselves. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

A great location to explore Turku, right in the middle of everything. Nice room with a good bathroom, everything spotless. Excellent breakfast at a nearby cafe, nicer than the usual tired buffet fare. The cards to the local gym and the Polaroid camera were nice touches. The only real complaint was the temporary lack of an elevator. I realize it could hardly have been avoided but better communication (any communicarion) about the issue beforehand and an attempt to put us on a lower floor would have been nice as the repeated trek to the sixth floor (122 steps) was not fun. But apart from that, quite brilliant.

The positives are that the property is very modern, staff is very friendly and the rooms as well as the building as a whole is exceptionally clean! With that said, this hotel was miserable for me! You can hear noise coming from every single direction all day and night: people walking in the hall outside, people talking, coughing, sneezing in the rooms next to you and above you. Doors slamming all throughout the hallway. The big one is the elevator. The elevator makes so much noise all day and night, making it a challenge to relax or sleep at any time of day. As far as 24/7 digital customer service, I had inquired twice, one time being a simple question to ask where the laundry room was. Neither time did I receive a response. Instead i had to alter my plans to track down a staff member (who was very friendly) during the limited time they are there and ask her. I would recommend to post it in the room. I would not recommend this place at all if you want peace and quiet. Poor experience.

This is a lovely aparthotel - an apartment building converted into little short-term rentals. The studio was cozy and had everything you need for a short stay, including some kitchen utensils. The location is really convenient and close to everything. One thing to note is that all communications were via Whatsapp or the Bob W app/page. This worked out well for me, but be aware that you need to log on to get things like the key code and room number.

Lovely place to stay, overlooking the square. Great communication. Clean. Comfortable. Had anything you need, including a small kitchen. Highly recommend!

It was impressively good and despite the lack of physical contact with any staff, they still managed to create a friendly helpful vibe. The property was excellent. We look forward to trying other Bob ws

I like the rooms and facilities and the great location on Market Square. Also surprised at how quiet it was. The elevator stopped working on the last day, but that was the only drama.

This should be the gold standard for the non communicatve apart/hotel

All fab apart from commas which for contactless checkin is not good
