Camping Village Mugello Verde

Very accomodating, we arrived super late because of traffic, the night guard accomodate us and take care of our check in smoothly. Salute to the night guard. We enjoy our day the room is clean and complete.

Property was good about providing transportation to and from the station whenever we needed. Staff is friendly and good with English. WiFi is very bad!! They do provide extra pillows and blankets which was really nice. The restaurant is very good but pricey esp for drinks. Limited breakfast options. Fishing and swimming area is 6hr walk btw. Cabins have poor ventilation so they get very humid and cold. Overall good except a few minor things.

This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station.

Mobile home was still new and clean - reasonably well equipped - surrounding nice and quiet - friendly and helpful reception staff - convenient parking next to mobile home No WiFi/internet - only (poor) connection in one place (reception/restaurant) - only 2 washing and 1 drying machine available - mobile home small for 4 people

The Dutch mobile home we had was too small for a family of 4. Toilet flushing caused septic gases to leak inside plus a bizarre-looking toilet didn’t look right. No adequate curtain to block the morning sunlight as our room was facing the Northeast. No microwave or kettle or toaster. Mosquitos were everywhere, and the reception staff were unable to provide a plug-in repellent and expected us to find one at night when the shops shut at 8 pm. Dusty and dirty windows. Very limited activities for the kids and the swimming pool was cold. The positives were good coffee and gelato at a reasonable price served by friendly staff. Clean linen & towels were provided but you have to make your beds. We also found a well-kept washing machine facilities. 6 Euros to wash and 4 Euros to dry. Good locally made toiletries were provided. New air conditioner kept us cool during the day & warm at night. We ate at the on-site restaurant once, food was ok and resonably priced. There is a supermarket in Scarperia, about 6KM away. We parked our car for FREE at S.Piero A Sieve station and took the nice train to Florence and Pisa. Please be aware that trains do not run regularly and our train was full at 10AM. I would recommend this place for camping and hiking.

They have very good free transportation service from this property to nearby train station.

Cheap cabin stay for 4 people.

Very easy to catch the train into Florence and they provided a shuttle service to the station. Plenty of facilities for a family And the cabin was adequate.

Quite nice place a few km away from town. The only problems that we have spotted: 1. For pool you will need to use head cap. 2. In night there is lot of flying ants.

Över förväntan, bodde i en äldre variant av ”villavagn” jättefräsch & ren men äldre standard. Bra personal, kunde bra engelska & bra poolområde, både vi & barnen nöjda!

En general muy agradable, más pensado para campamento de verano, por ello algo lejos de la ciudad más cercana, pero si trae uno vehículo eso no es problema, el restaurante de ahí, muy bueno, buenos precios y muy rico
