The property is very clean and all the staff were super friendly. Staff who are fluent in English are available. The bathroom was a great size for hotels in Japan. I would stay here again.

Wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and conscientious staff. Delicious breakfast, and all located either next to Tenmabashi, which itself has many wonderful eating places and provides easy access to other key locations in Osaka. Affordable and comfortable.

Favorite hotel in Japan by far. It was a cute little chic hotel a couple minutes from a station, you’re greeted by a friendly staff everyday you walk in and leave, and there’s also a cafe in the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and vibrant with a nice view of the river nearby. I would stay here again my next visit to Osaka

Not the best area to stay in. It's a bit out of the way of everything. The area is clean, quiet and safe. Just a bit out of the way from the main attractions and heart of osaka.
The room is very basic. No tv, no fridge and no kettle. Theres a fridge on the 5th floor but its communal. So not the same.
The room was clean but not very cosy. The floor was a hard acrylic which can get slippery when getting out of the shower.
The room was also tucked away so it didnt get any sunlight. The room was dimly lit with sunlight, then when you went ouside it was incredibly bright.
Not the worst hotel ive stayed in but i would advise against staying here, despite its cleanliness. Its location, lack of features and personality are a bit of a downer.
The staff were nice though.

It was unfortunate that we stayed at this hotel later in our trip because we couldn't help but compare it to our wonderful stays in Japanese business hotels, where many amenities were included at a much lower nightly rate. That said, our (rather spartan) room had a gorgeous view, was very roomy and clean, featured an outstanding media system, and the bed was very comfortable. In addition, all the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the included Western-style breakfast was outstanding - seven different selections, and the items we were able to try were fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared and presented. The location was excellent - near grocery stores, dining and transportation, and within walking distance to Osaka Castle. We would recommend this hotel to travellers seeking a more Western-style hotel experience.

Hotel Noum was perfect for this trip to Osaka. I didn't want to stay in the business of Shinsaibashi or around Hep 5 shopping precinct. And being right on the beautiful river, close to public transport, other shopping centers, convenient food options, it was ideal. The staff are bilingual and diverse in background. The cafe is beautiful and available for that morning coffee pick me up. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

A really well designed and centrally located hotel. It was also incredibly well maintained and clean. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was chill. We’d 100% stay again. The only drawbacks were that they had no ketchup condiments for the Full English breakfast, the lift was slow and they were quite uncompromising about the kind of coffee that was included in the breakfast. You could also hear people in other rooms turning off lights and using the bathroom. Small things that would make a big difference if they were to address.

Hotel is located by the river in a pleasant highly walkable neighbourhood. Beautiful Osaka Tenmangu Shrine within easy walking distance and is well worth a visit. Hotel staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious.

Staff were super friendly and made us feel so welcome! They even have bikes you can rent which makes getting from shrine to shrine really easy!
