Unlike the old-looking exterior and and room photos, the room we stayed in was very clean. The location is also very good since it's located right in front of the station exit. Other than not having a laundromat inside the hotel, everything was great!

I would definitely stay here again as it is right beside the train station, so it is as easily accessible as it can get! Being right in Ikebukuro, there was so much shopping and restaurants to choose from. Very lively at night! Also right beside a major train station meant it had all the major train lines to get around the city!

We had a large room next to Ikebukuro station. I was worried about not being able to sleep at night because of the noise, but we slept fine. You can hear the trains, but it’s not that bad unless you’re a light sleeper. Overall, nice stay, very close to a train station, super convenient!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and roomy enough. Hot water was instant and water pressure was strong. We stayed 2 weeks and were comfortable. A/C was cold and quiet. Hotel is across the street from a major train station, so that was convenient.
