Nagoya Kanayama Hotel

The room was not big but clean and tidy.

The hotel was a 2 minute walk from the closest train station making travel incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average but appreciated. The room did have some scuff marks along the walls but was clean upon arrival. Since the hotel is close to a train station you will hear the trains pass by intermittently.

The location is amazing! Very Very convenient for train to airport.

Nagoya Kanayama Hotel has an unbeatable location, situated right next to Kanayama station where you can hop on and off Mu-sky train, Nagoya Meitetsu, JR train and the subway Meiji/Meiko lines. Plenty of restaurants around the area to choose from too. Personally found it better than staying in Sakae or Nagoya station area. Hotel room is decent, simple room with all the things you need.

The bed springs were a bit pokey in the sidey. No place to place luggage.

I just loved staying at this cute little hotel. I got the room that is larger than the smallest room, and although it was still small, it had everything I needed and was comfortable. This hotel is not a luxury hotel, so I was not expecting that. Yet, the service was excellent and the breakfast was really great. The large bath on the 3rd floor was great, and if you like to go to a much bigger spa, you can get a free entrance and transport to a very large spa where I used to go. I did not have enough time to go this time, but I will next time! What a service! And the location is EXCELLENT. I just loved everything about this hotel and I look forward to staying here whenever I come back to Japan to visit my family.

Our stay here was great. It’s not a spacious room but that’s typical for Japanese hotels. Very clean and quiet for being near a busy street. Lovely public bath that opened early morning. Also the pajamas they gave us were so comfy.

The room was too hot to sleep in, the temperature control was not functioning. The room was tiny but functionally equipped with double/full size bed, small desk, fridge and tea pot etc. The bathroom was also tiny but clean and all of the necessary items were tucked into the small space.

Great experience! I chose to stay here because it was convenient. Literally 1 minute walk from the station exit. The room was sufficient and the AC worked really well with good thermostat temperature control. I’ve stayed at hotels in Japan with only an on/off option-this was not like that! Really enjoyed the spa. It was simple but clean and pleasant. The breakfast was particularly good. Many great options and the dining area is very nice with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will stay here next time I come to Nagoya!

Very nice hotel and facilities. Spa and breakfast was wonderful. However, rooms are very very small.

The customer service was wonderful! My room was comfortable and clean. I had to do laundry at 12:00 am and received assistance from staff!
