Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort

Transport to the Disney parks and from the monorail/train system were very convenient, staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, hotel was very clean.

Room was extremely small we struggled for space and beds are not suitable for anyone 6ft tall. Also there is no ATM onsite which makes things hard.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. If I was to come back I will definitely stay here. Provides shuttles to a station close to Disneyland and DisneySea that it can be walked maybe if walking super slow I would say 15min but average it was 10 or less.

Really fun room

I liked this hotel that it is easy access between Narita Airport and the hotel: a limousine bus available with fee. It also offers free shuttle bus between the Maihama JR station and the hotel. I wish the hotel has more options for restaurants because it is none after lunch hours until dinner.

Very good

Compared to last year, the process of check in was slow. Although there are so many staffs standing around the receptions and entrances, only a few staffs assisted customers at porter services or check in counters. However, room is clean as always, facilities of the hotel are nice. They offer quite convenient transportation services to both disney resorts as well as to Maihama Station.

Best decision to stay herw

This was a great hotel near Tokyo Disney. Staff were so kind and helpful and there was transport to the Disney Parks or to the metro station. Many amenities were provided and there was a konbini and restaurant if needed. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Loved how close this was to Disney! I walked 15 min to Disneyland (and walked 30 minutes to DisneySea) the bus is very convenient and runs to either Disneyland or DisneySea - to the monorail. (Note - you pay for the monorail to the park entrance- coming from Florida I was not used to paying for the monorail - so have yen) I loved my room! In my wing it was themed like a cruise ship - even to stepping over threshold in bathroom - and the tub - I felt like I was on a cruise! And I could see Disneyland hotel and the monorail from my window - I absolutely loved it. I had a fabulous time - and hope to return some day for another Disney visit. And will definitely select Tokyo Bay Maihama First Resort again. I was never able to get a coffee from the shop - or a meal in the restaurant - because I left before they opened and got back after they closed. Would have loved some kind of lobby service "after hours" (but everything in the area seemed to close by 9-9:30 pm)

This was super convenient for access to DisneySea. The resort bus was great! The breakfast buffet was good but exactly the same each day so could become boring on long stay. This place does NOT have a pool. The pictures are misleading - it has a huge "water feature". Good budget friendly place for a short Disney visit. And the dockside room decor is hysterical!

My only complaint was that for breakfast they have two buffets, but really the food is cooked in the California restaurant and then some is carted over to the other location, which is essentially overflow if you arrive between 7-9 AM (prime time before park openings.) The hot food at the second location is sometimes warm at best.

The hotel is close to the Disney parks and offers a free shuttle service, which is very convenient. Breakfast always has the same options and there’s no hot milk or hot chocolate, but it’s fair overall. The laundry room is the weak point: it’s quite chaotic, with many guests ignoring the order of arrival and cutting in line without any concern. There’s no system to manage this, so it’s best to plan ahead to avoid needing it. During our stay, it rained, and we saw several guests using the dryers to dry their sneakers after the parks — I found this unhygienic and believe there should be some control over it. The staff are attentive and friendly. To receive two bottles of water per day, you must request a full room cleaning, as the light cleaning doesn’t include water. It’s a simple hotel, but it delivers what it promises. We would stay there again.

This is a very clean and convenient hotel. Great free transportation to and from the Disney properties. The room is clean and surprisingly spacious. It’s quiet and right off Tokyo Bay. The staff are helpful and many speak good English. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.
