From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around 7 minutes to Chinatown by using Damansara road. You can use Kuala Lumpur- Putrajaya road from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Chinatown which consumes around 45 minutes.

Central Market

It is actually located in this building called the Pasar Seni and nestled exactly at the side of Kasturi Walk at Pasar Seni. This place is only a short walking distance away from the popular Chinatown (Petaling Street) of Kuala Lumpur. In addition to that, the KL Sentral rail station is only 1.5 kilometres away from the market, thus providing easy access to the KL International Airport. The Central Market is full of stalls which sell handicrafts which are all locally made such as batik, songket, wood carvings, souvenirs and accessories. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

The Bird Park was part of the Lake Gardens back then but the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park itself was only established back in 1991. Other attractions of the Lake Gardens include the Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur, the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens, The National Monument and an artificial lake. The KL Bird Park is located in the scenic Perdana Botanical Gardens which is only 10 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur city centre. Home to more than 3,000 birds of 200 local and foreign bird species, the main feature that distinguishes KL Bird Park from other bird parks is the concept of free-flight. Among the bird species available here is Mandarin ducks, hawk eagles, hornbills, ostriches and other birds.
