You can take ferry to Langkawi where Express ferries provide regular services to Langkawi from Kuala Kedah in mainland Kedah and Kuala Perlis in the neighboring state of Perlis. The ride from Kuala Kedah takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. Ferry services to Langkawi are also available from Penang as well as Satun, Thailand.

Cenang Beach

Cenang Beach is the busiest beach town on Langkawi Island, where you can find a diverse mix of cafes and restaurants, as well as souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets along its picturesque beach strip. Just a 10-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport, it is a popular holiday destination for travelling families. You can walk along the soft and beautiful white sandy beaches, spend an hours admiring the beauty of the beach.

Underwater World Langkawi

Underwater World Langkawi is one of the island’s best-known attractions. Located at the southern end of Pantai Cenang, beside the Zon duty-free shopping centre, it is Malaysia’s largest aquarium. You may enjoy here to see more than 200 different species of marine and freshwater fish including harbor seals, rock hopper penguins, sharks, giant rays and the enormous Amazonian.

Makam Mahsuri

Makam Mahsuri is located in the village of Mawat, 12 minutes’ drive from Langkawi Airport. Most of the island’s natural attractions have fables attached in true Malay style and Mahsuri’s Tomb is probably its most famous legend. The story begins with the beautiful Mahsuri, a maiden born over 200 years ago, who married the love of her life during a time of conflict with the Siamese. Her husband went off to fight in the war and her mother-in-law, jealous of her beauty, vengefully accused Mahsuri of adultery.

Telaga Tujuh Waterfall

Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls is billed as Langkawi Island's most wonderful natural attraction with locals claiming it to be the home of faeries. Set on Langkawi's western headlands, its name means Seven Wells Waterfalls, referring to a series of seven connected natural pools fed by seven separate waterfalls in Mount Mat Cincang. Visitors can enjoy a dip in the cool water or brave the steep climb to the top of the waterfalls.

Langkawi Sky Bridge

The Langkawi Sky Bridge, situated at the end of the Langkawi Cable Car ride, is a 410ft-long curved pedestrian bridge above Mount Mat Cincang which located 2,300ft above sea level. You may get a wonderful experience to see the Sky Bridge with view of the surrounding rainforests and tiny islands surrounding Langkawi.
