Nibong Tebal is a town situated in South Seberang Perai district of Penang. It is the largest town in South Seberang Perai district, close to the border with Kedah and Perak. Nibong Tebal is also the border town of Penang, located 308 km from Kuala Lumpur. The name Nibong Tebal means "dense palms", and may refers to the nibung trees that grow in the surrounding mangrove. The majority of the Malay Residence speaks Penang and Kedah Malay Language while Chinese speak Teow Chew instead of the Hokkien which is commonly used on Penang Island.

By Air

By Car
