Great experience
Overall experience was pleasant. The durians were fresh and they were fell, which is a bit of rarity nowadays if you would buy yours in the cities. Hosts were super friendly but they were quite overwhelmed by another group which was quite loud and they were locals too. So, they monopolised the hosts' time and attention. We had to improvise and approached their 'workers' and the volunteers instead. Apart from this disappointment, we had a ball. We even walked to the farm and collect our own durian. The air was fresh on the mountains and it was great getting away from the metro life for a while. It wasn't cheap but we went for the experience itself, and of course freshly dropped durians.

The Art of Durian
Taste and eat the king of the fruit - durian like an art that you have never done before! Hear the owner about 5 different durian tastes - sweet, alcohol, bitterish, numbness & woody are developed due to various factors. Of course the type of tree is one of them but the age of the tree is essential to give you the unique taste. The"side effect" of the drop of the durian changes the enzyme so again different taste. The interval of the fruit being picked up and consumed plays a role too, timing is another taste transformation factor. Wow! Never thought of tasting and eating durian is an art. Immersed in the serene surrounding with simple tatami homestay learning about the transformation of this organic durian farm and the revival of the entire ecology for sustainability. Truly an inspiring trip!

commercial place with pricey durian
Many tourist from taiwan and china around, the durian are reserved for oversea tourist and the price is jack up much higher. They dun even care about local ppl. The durian taste average, can't compare to pahang durian at all. Dun expect too high.

Overnight stay at Bao Sheng Durian Farm
17 of, friends and families stayed over at the dorm style rooms at this special place. There were no durians yet but our aim was to get together for a relaxation time. It's a beautiful experience. We had a peaceful night drinking tea and coffee, chatting and relaxing. The rooms are clean and I like the cool spring water for washing our hands and face. If you want to let your hair down, this is the perfect place for you.

Amazing Service, Beautiful View, very Hospitable
The owner's son "Chowe" was very helpful and friendly, he picked us up from the bus station free of charge and made great coffee for us in the morning. They offered free breakfast with different delicacies each day. The room was right next to the pool which also has a great view. He made good suggestions for things to do nearby and also let us use his motorbike. At the time it visit Durian wasn't in season, but I can tell their Durian must be very good as he was very passionate about it. On the day we left, the public bus didn't come on time so we were about to miss our connecting bus to KL. He sent his friend to pick us up and brought us to the bus station in the nick or time. The owners family is very hospitable and very friendly. Highly recommend this place.
