For those who are driving, the Batu Berendam Inn is about two hours from Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Highway, and just twenty minutes away from Bandar Melaka. Travelling to Melaka is also possible by taking the express buses from any state in Peninsular Malaysia. An express bus ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka Sentral starts from as low as RM 10, one-way. The Melaka Sentral is just about six kilometres away and there is an intercity bus that travels to Batu Berendam; the Panorama 1A bus. Going to the Batu Berendam Inn from anywhere in Melaka is also easy as the taxis are aplenty. There is also an option to take the trishaw, a three-wheeled vehicle that is one of Melaka’s unique transportation tough the fare may be expensive. Do make sure to have the price quoted before getting on it.

The activities at the Melaka Zoo are not limited to the animals viewing only; the zoo also offers a night safari activity. There is also an adoption program at the zoo where people may adopt an animal for a year by paying RM 50; a program that is unique at the Melaka Zoo.
