Don't expect a luxurious stay. But the hotel just gave a right price. All was okay, room, cleanliness, service were acceptable and not bad. Good stay for those who visit Penang Adventist Hospital. Else, you can find another hotel more center.

Staff and location is good but facilities are really bad and dated. I had problems with my TV remote, the shower faucet came off when I wanted to take a bath and the gym equipment is quite appalling. Worst still it only opens at 8.00am. Early risers like me had to jog outside the hotel. The room smells a little weird. An update of facilities is really due for an otherwise a good hotel.

I stayed 3 nights. If you want the high floor, they will not provide 29 floor. Already booked by someone had connecting with management hard to get highest floor, for change room 2004 bad internet connection and smoking floor need to call and asking more than 10 times bad management they should be can arrange and see check-out schedule its not high season. On the second day, I got changed room after speak and angry. They gave me 25 floor, non-smoking smaller room than I book before I request twin but got king they give me extra bed free. Air-con not cold then 2004.

The hotel was a letdown in term of facilities in the room. No iron and ironing board in room, no hairdryer, the food selection for the breakfast was limited, location was a bit far for me! Lobby entrance was not manages by anyone outside as guests were required to go up a flight of stairs before reaching the lobby.

Hotel near Adventist Hospital and Guerney
This hotel is a good choice for those who want to visit Penang Adventist Hospital. It is also in walking distance to Guerney Paragon and Guerney Plaza, and further to Guerney Drive area. Nearby you can find traditional food sellers and various cafes.

Unprofessional services..
First time and my last time time staying here. Super unprofessional services provided. Requested for laundry bags and mineral water several times, operator told me to give 5 mins for it to be deliver. However it never turn up. Shower curtain and room's window curtains were stained with reddish brown stains. Disgusted. After checking out, realized that i had left behind my blanket and my sister left behind her clothes. Made a call to the operator. The operator was indeed helpful and responsive ( so , i thought this hotel services wasn't that bad after all)BUT then the next day which was yesterday 2/10/17, around 4pm, i received a call from this hotel again, but this time, was a lady who speaks malay to me.. broken english (totally unprofessional) asking me to bank in RM 30 delivery charge to their account given ( but not the bank name). She seems rushing to hang up the call. Somemore, before hanging up, ask me to email them my pay slip and input my address details so that they can proceed the delivery. I then called back to re confirm the bank details, however, i couldn't reach this suspicious lady. A lady from housekeeping kept directing me to some departments which bounce back to her and told me she doesn't know anything..(WTH??) Called the operator once more regarding this, the gentleman who picked up the phone told me that they actually doesn't provide courier services for lost and found items and that i have to come over to pick up myself. ( What was this? Information was given totally differently from each of the staff!) Fine, then this gentleman somemore asked me if i have that suspicious lady's name and i said no ( That's why i called to rectify this issue..HELLO??) This gentlemen then told me to give him sometime to check for me and that he'll call me back at 1630 on that day 2/10/17. But he never. Doesn't this looks like scamming? Pushing me like a pin ball by just denying and by just say "don't know" I never thought of writing a review on this until today 3/10/17 , when i received another call from a lady from number this number 0172651520 regarding the delivery charge. As i'm totally sick of how they handle this, i told this lady "forget about it" and she was like " huh, apa ni? "with such rude communicating skill which boils up my day! No proper professionalism from this hotel serviceespecially the staff, how do you expect me to trust you, RM 30 is not much, but this RM 30 not worth for such terrible people who tries to scam guest who checked out and left their items behind. irresponsible, unprofessional, illiterate behaviour. To the management, You should indeed improve the hotel services from each and every individual working in this hotel. Also, you should train their communicating skills as well as their teamwork skills to prevent miscommunication so that we, guest are not confused with the information given. Last but not least, as a hotelier, contacting guest with personal phones instead of hotel direct line is a super wrong act! This is my first time encountering such terrible service gesture! 5 star for this Even a motel and first star inn are more professional in handling these. Most important INFORMATION DELIVERED are not different but exact!

Need improvements
It was smelly once stepping into the room. We have no idea where the odour came from... probably from the carpet or air conditioner. Stains in the bathroom show the aging facilities that urgently need improvements if they want to keep their guests.

Berjaya Penang Hotel
It's near Adventist Hospital (I went to Penang with my sister and we were going to check up in Adventist Hospital) we can go there by walking only...I love to stay there because its also near to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon...you can go by grab car...
