Attractive view, peacefully and romantic

It just a place to take a picture and nothing can be done. Yeah, the view are great but. No activity up there. I think they can upgrade the place and add the activity. Yes, there you can join the jungle tracking. That's the only you can do
- Romantic Vacation
Overall ok and very comfortable place
- Family vacation
The view is nice. But the hotel is very bad.

A very beautiful, tranquil and romantic place for retreats or honey moon
1. Expensive, very pricey and have to pay for many add-ons such as bicycle and tour to kalimantan view point which I feel should be free considering we pay a lot 2. Room quite small, smaller than average. 3. Food vegetarian only 4. Nothing much to do, horses are in the stable and cannot ride, plantation farm closed. 5. Staff was friendly 6. Not recommended
- Romantic Vacation
Good but need more fun activities, it's good for relaxing. Beautiful place

One night stay during a birding tour
The resort has a hotel, private residences, a restaurant and a golf course. It is accessed by a long, paved, winding road. The gold course grounds are very beautiful, but I never saw a golfer. It rained every day. The birding was quite good. The hotel was good, but needed maintenance. Both screen doors in my room were broken, and could not be opened or closed. The fixed breakfast was quite good. The restaurant is vegetarian only. I have no idea what I ate for the evening meal.

a memorable visit at borneo highland resort
its my first time visit here with couple of good friends and we had a wonderful time.we drove up the hill and be extra careful with the sloppy roads and dangerous turns.u need a good pickup car to go up the hill cos its quite high.but anyway we had a great time swimming at the waterfall near 7th stop and a sceneric view at kalimantan view stop at the top of the hill.u need to pay rm10 per adult at the entrance below and another rm10 for the buggy fare which will bring u up until the top.

Lack of maintenance
The last time I stayed here was 15 years ago ..but it has really lost its past glory. The beautifully manicured lawns were no longer there. The rooms were generally clean but the bedside table lamps probably hasn't been cleaned since it was bought. There's s theatrette and reading room but books/shows are very old ones. There was water disruption (Probably due to low water pressure) when we were there.. maybe due to the many guests bathing at the same time. When the water was restored,it was brown in colour... The only consolation was the food at the Annah Rais Cafe.We had buffet breakfast/dinner there. It's vegetarian and caters more the Asian tastebuds but every dish was well-cooked and tasty. They could have replenish the dishes faster, though. This resort is not for small kids. They'll be bored to death. There's a horse ranch with only 3 horses...not for riding. It's not a cheap hotel..go only if you like nature...bird-watching,jungle-trekking and one night's stay is enough. The road up is not as steep as 15 years ago and it's posssible to drive up if you have good brakes.

A refreshing getaway!
It was my second time coming and it was a much better experience than my first. We drove to the top and the entrance fee was 10MYR per person. We drove 8km to reach the resort. The resort is really so you have to park at the parking lot since you can't drive around. I saw some people drove but it could those who were actually spending the night there. I would recommend the usage of sport shoes so you could walk comfortably. To get to the Kalimantan viewpoint, you would have to pay for transportation which is 10MYR per person. I'm not sure if you're allowed to walk to the viewpoint but you could ask. Other activities are provided such as jungle trekking, golfing and you could rent a bicycle and cycle around. The view there is really amazing and they have a horse stable tho you can't ride on the horses. The resort itself is captivating. It has this mansion look like view to it and I really liked that.
