Avoid it under any circumstances if you love youself
We stayed at this hotel since almost everything was fully-booked in Tanah Rata. Well, we regret it a lot. For the price we paid, this hotel is almost a scam. Besides, if you stay in Brinchang town and want to get to Tanah Rata or come back, you'll need a taxi and they weren't that easy to find. Our room was on the 3rd floor of a different building with no lift. Moreover the building was permanently open to the street without any security measure apart of a security camera. Even a kid could have opened the lock of our room's door. The bathroom looked quite disgusting, with water all over the floor. The water from the shower fell down in a bucket. To have a shower, you had a dirty pale to throw water over you because the tap didn't have any pressure. The windows looked to a very noisy street (even by night) and to the town's mosque (get ready to pray since 5 am because you can't get any sleep since then). Of course there wasn't A/C, but you don't really need it in Cameron Highlands. By the way, make some room for more roomies, we were visited by a pair of cockroaches. One good thing was the matress and the pillow which were reasonably comfortable. Nevertheless we didn't trust the cleanness of the sheets so we slept into our sleeping bags. To sum up, you better look for another place.

Avoid this place !
Experience at this property did not start very well, when we received one of the worst check-in of our lives. No information provided, no answers to our questions: the silence was even quite disturbing when we asked for the closest ATM. Room was in line with description: quite clean and furnitures looked new. However, windows were not functional (locking system destroyed), and bathroom door lock was broken as well (no intimacy at all). Shower water heater was not functional at all: we had to get used to cold shower since there was an electricity shortage every time we were using the shower. Internet was working OK. Brandwith was however limited, but that's the way it is. No housekeeping at all during our three-night stay. A good way to increase profit when you sell your rooms 30 EUR a night excl. breakfast. Last but not least. Location could be called "perfect" if the room was at the same place than the reception. However, we have been conducted to a building in an other street in the back, with a nice view on the back of a cheap Chinese street restaurant. Avoid this place. By the way, avoid Brinchang and stay in Tanah Rata: you will probably face less deception.

Over priced shower didn't work
Shower didn't work, the water came out of it boiling hot as if its been boiled in a kettle. No lift. Paid £50 for two nights at the weekend complete rip off but there was no where else to stay. Tv didn't work only had 1 channel. Window was broken and didn't close so was freezing at night and woken up at 5 am by the mosque. Stayed here because it said it was near the night market but it's moved and is 2 miles away. Wifi worked

Ok
The 3-room apartment unit booked at Chua Gin2 @ Imperial Court is spacious with good location. Within a walking distance to the night market, food stalls & other souvenir shops. However, walking up to the apartment is a challenge coz it's on a hilly place. The admin office is on a different location hence you need to go to the office 1st, pay the amt in CASH (credit card not accepted), collect your key & towels & get direction to the apartment & your unit. The unit can accommodate upto max 8-10 pax as the mgmt provides extra mattress, pillow & blanket. But towels provided are only 4-insufficient. Utensils are limited with cups, glasses, etc only for 4 pax. No tea/coffee/sugar/etc provided. No microwave provided also which should be very helpful considering the cold weather in Cameron & guests may want to heat up food at night. Mattress, bedsheets & pillow cover are not clean with stain marks in them. Hot water flow is inconsistent. Overall, based on the above comments, the rental is on the high side.

Bugs/ Cockroaches on the Bed!!!!!!!!
Went there for a short trip. Woke up in the midnight feeling itchy everywhere. Turned on the light and were shocked seeing a lot of bugs on the bed! On the pillows! Everywhere!!!!! They bit us and were still moving everywhere on the beds!!!!OMG! Ran out from the room to the lobby and the staff gave us another room, dared not to sleep at all. Went down again and no one was there anymore. The next day at the counter, making complaint to the staff, met another customer complaining that his room was smelly and have bugs too. Their response was they have just changed the pillow and they have cleaned it. Who knows?Seriously disgusting!
