A nice place to relax however the rooms are quite small but overall it's ok.

Lovely heritage house in the old town of George Town, near to many restaurants, street hawker stalls and bus stop just around the corner. Unfortunately rooms are not sound proof. Breakfast was good.

I was stay in the ground floor. But my room is really near to the road. It supposed to be the exit door but they made it as a room. I cannot sleep if I didn't bought an ear plug. But the room is spacious. It's really near to go to mural wall, the famous dimsum resto and the other tourist places by walking.

The hotel was good for the price. The owner at check in said it would be ok to have breakfast at 7:30 (half an hour before) as I was leaving early. When I went downstairs he wasn't there. Only his front desk staff who is a lovely guy, very attentive (and was working when I got there at 4pm until 8am next morning when I left.) Lady owner was horrible to him, she treated him badly in front of me (a customer). The room was ok, AC didn't work but I didn't mind as I used as a fan. The AC from next room was very loud. It was ok for 1 night.

it was a very pleasant stay. the staffs were very helpful and attentive, especially peter. he gave lots of information about penang, esp. the food market and attractions.. how to get here and there. I got free upgrade from single to double room, so it was a great deal that time... even maybe best. the room itself was spacious and clean. cool ac, warm duvet. I slept like a baby. the en-suite bathroom is kind of unique. it was decorated in big square black & white tiles, delivered the feeling of being in a colonial lodg e.. which is funny as it is located in peranakan area. but that's what maybe is. the influence of he western (british) to the peranakan house. one thing I didn't see is shampoo. I didn't ask to the front desk as I brought my own. breakfast was made a la minute to meet my need. warm and nice. thanks to cintra heritage house. it was truly a memorable stay.

Appreciate everything Staff willingness to serve Like staying home, relatives First, no power adapter I emailed the manager He provided Located in the center of Tour Went to the wrong hotel The famous pedestrian street or building facilities like good accommodation and facilities. The decor is old-style classic if it should go to Penang at this. Access to the country, we feel good. And then like If I was to go to Penang stay here again.

Comfortable and great location
A lovely heritage building in great location.Comfortable and large rooms.Short on wardrobe space but no problems.Short stroll to restaurants, bars and in middle of old Penang. Hop on bus stops close. Was there on 4/11/17 when incredible storm hit, woke to find bag floating!!! All clothes very wet and flying next day. They dried and ironed all without hesitation. Was not surprised as they are very friendly, helpful.I will return.

Unique and traditional
The receptionist , Miss Liezel is very friendly and helpful. She greets us with charming smile. I had already booked and paid for the room but when i arrived i was informed that no reservation record was found, Miss Liezel help me to contact the agent and solve this problem. She even free a breakfast coupon for me. This is an unique hotel with traditional furniture, staircase and design. Hot water and aircond are well function. Everywhere is the photospot for me!

Adequate for the Price
Stayed for one night by myself. I booked the cheapest room available. I wasn't impressed with the facilities. There wasn't a TV, phone, or mini fridge in the room. My room also lacked windows that allowed for natural light. The wifi was spotty as well. There were only 2 electrical outlets in my room; I always find a lack of outlets to be annoying. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was disappointing, just some toast and a choice of scrambled or fried eggs. The location was quite good; easy to find and easy to walk to anyplace around the historical bits of Georgetown in just a few minutes. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. It seemed like quite a few of the rooms were being renovated. The common area was nice, open and not too hot.

Old style, feels like home
Excellent location just off Chulia street - close to nightlife but a more quiet area. Spacious rooms with private bathroom. Old style but attractive and well maintained, and a friendly environment. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Good stay
Well I had 3 days stay at cintra heritage... Room were in classic old style, the wooden smell and wooden windows doors like kampung style simply classic. There were 2 Indonesian friends from the kitchen. Very friendly environment,no formalities and human's sense environment at home feeling. The receptions staff were quite in formal and nice with helpful attitude, did discounted me on prices and concern on my money which I spend more on rooms for two. Sense of gratitude and concern. Their breakfast was normal and they have extra buffet Indonesian classic home dishes and fried menu. I have tried the food and it's really Indonesian spices home cook.Enjoyed well with chicken prawns and their lemak fish. Totally pleasant stay I would say with touch of classic smoking area, peaceful and quiet like a own home at ground floor... open air dining area. I didn't get this experience at star hotels... well this house it has its touch as home. It's not about the rooms it's the people and environment,I come as guest and left like a friend. Kudos!!! Thanks appreciate.
