The Damansara Simple Homestay is perfect to handle the smallest family to a big gathering up to ten guests. How to Get to Damansara Simple Homestay
There are a lot of transportation options available in Kelana Jaya despite it is the suburb of Petaling Jaya. For the easiest trip to the Damansara, Simple Homestay is by driving. The drive to the homestay will take just half an hour, and up to forty minutes depending on the traffic, from Shah Alam, the capital city of Selangor. The drive from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur will also take the equal amount of time to reach the Damansara Simple Homestay via the SPRINT Highway. For those who want to save up money from the toll, take the Federal Highway from Kuala Lumpur to Kelana Jaya but do keep in mind that the drive might take a longer time as the traffic is quite bad. There is also an option to take the LRT to get to Kelana Jaya by taking LRT Kelana Jaya line and stop at the Ara Damansara LRT station. The station to the Damansara Simple Homestay is just three minutes away by driving and ten minutes if walking. There is also an option to take the RapidKL on the Federal Highway Line to get to the closest station at to the homestay. There are also taxis in the surrounding area that would bring the passengers to the Damansara Simple Homestay; just make sure that the taxi driver uses the meter for the fare to prevent exorbitant price quoted by the driver.

The Damansara Simple Homestay does not rent out their rooms but instead, they rent out the whole house to the guest. The Damansara Simple Homestay has only one unit available for the homestay unit. The house is a double-storey terrace located at a residential area. The Damansara Simple Homestay’s unit is fully furnished, ready for anyone to live in. The unit has four bedrooms with the master bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, a built-in wardrobe and also a big mirror. The next room in the unit has two Queen-sized beds and two Single-sized beds in another room. The smallest room in the unit is still big enough to accommodate two Single-sized beds. This room is the only one located on the first floor. All of the rooms in the unit have air-conditioners and ceiling fan. The unit also has three bathrooms; two on the second floor and the other one on the first floor. The kitchen at the unit is equipped with a stove, an electric kettle, a refrigerator and a microwave. This homestay is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi connection that is free for the guests to use. The unit also has a parking space that can fit two cars and it is gated. Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve - This is a 320-hectare piece of land that is gazetted for recreational, educational and research purposes. It is a popular hiking spot and among those who love to do mountain bike activities. This forest reserve has two main entrances that are located at Section 9 and Section 10 of Kota Damansara. There are several trails at the forest reserve and most of them have a length of two kilometres. These trails will take some twenty to forty minutes to complete. There is also a garden known as the Aunty Sipew’s Garden that shows wild plants that are used by the Temuan, an Orang Asli, community. For those who are interested in these plants, set a date with a guide from the Kota Damansara Community Forest Society, so that they may explain about those floras. The Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve is twenty minutes away from the Damansara Simple Homestay.
