4.5
Requested for adjoining room but was decline, the room smell bad and the room looks old with aircon not working... Got stuck in the lift and when we sound the alarm...no one came to rescue, we had to peel open the door... Very bad experience... No good!
6.1
It is not my expectation as 4 star resort.
5.4
Couldn't get sufficient vegetarian food
9.7
Except lack of sort or full set of towels, others are just fine.
7.0
Hotel ok but coincidentally it was blackout almost 5 hours.
6.3
Nice view. All the rooms are sea-view. But the room was quite bad. Smelly bed sheet, very smelly room until I was always need to open the door and sliding door. The elevator was very smelly as well. Understood the building is quite old, but the important thing is the cleanliness. Please improve the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as the swimming pool.
9.3
Location, view, services and all are good. Except that after a while, I noticed that the furniture and materials used are not up to par to their star ratings.

Good hotel if you want to be close to but not in Johor Bahru
The hotel appears to be a large concrete shell built on a budget. There's no sound insulation so sound travels through the floors and walls. No piped-in hot water (all units have individual) instant water heaters - not an issue as we generally don't use hot water in Asia, and all rooms have individual a/c units. Rooms aren't too bad if rather plain. No overly large but by no means small either. Pool is large but can get crowded with children and families during holiday periods. Breakfast is o.k. if a bit uninspired. Go early but Asians tend to have breakfast early and all morning. Due to the huge volume of marine traffic (all ships going between east Asia and Europe/Africa pass close by) and oil rigs, there is a tiny sign warning of tarballs. Don't wear your best bathing suit if going to the beach. Gym is very small and basic. Not too bad value overall.

Not recommended
Will not go again. Long check in, the staff seemed so blur not sure of check in process. Waited super long for my turn. Room has no face and hand towels which is usually provided by all hotels. It’s not worth the price we paid for.

Superb!!
Love the scenery, the room, the facilities and the staff. The kids love so much the hotel pool and the beach. Variety of foods for breakfast as well. Need to be improved might be the iron and they should open the spa..

Mum day off
Nice beach and location but the resort didn't properly maintain. The corridor and the balcony was so dirty. I don't think they even sweep the floor on that area. The room wasn't that bad. Good tv channel. Huge swimming pool.

Bad experience all around.
The hotel was empty. No guests, no staff around. The staff that we could find showed no interest and talked very very poor English. The hotel was old and outdated with bad maintenance and poorly cleaned. Ants everywhere. There was a sign on the beach that said: don't go on beach, tar ball. The poolbar was closed. No service by the pool, so we had to go to the upstairs bar to get drinks. After finding someone from service, a beer was 25RM for a bottle and a Coke was 15RM, pretty expensive. Later in the evening the power went out. The staff said nothing, just stood there. No airco and no lights in de hotel room. After waiting for about two hours and no sign of improvement we asked for a refund and moved to another hotel. Luckily that was arranged fast. This hotel has had it's time. It's worn out and the lack of interest and service from the staff makes it even worse.
