Toilet room very dirty and smelly
Good price for budget, but some facilities not up to date
It's a worst hotel and not value for trying.
Aircon make noise, a lot of thing broken no repair.
Room light is very dark, the bed is also dirty, the room door is bad, feeling dangerous, the service is also poor, feel uncomfortable.
Front desk counter is not helpful.
Can't locate this place when I use Grab car apps.. and I get small room. It only great about staying here because it's near jonker, about 10 minutes of walking distance.

I stayed for 2 nights and totally regretted! Rude staff I’ve ever met! Greeting me with ‘what??!’ I asked for parking she said..what parking?? No parking! Bathroom door not functioning. I need to sleep see the toilet. The mattress are thin, yellow sign and smelly. Compare picture with actual room are totally different!

Affordable stay.
The staff is friendly and provided directions to Jonker St. The room has modern renovation, although not much space to walk around. Good for a night or two to sleep. Location is a bit of a walk to Jonker St, especially when the streets are not pedestrian friendly. There is hot/cold water dispenser only on the ground floor kitchen. Overall a good choice for those on a budget.

you get what you pay for
I was on a working trip to Malacca and was looking at a place which is nearby the school to save the travelling time. A friend of mine introduced this place to me. I booked the hotel without looking at the reviews in tripadvisor. Looking at the photos posted, I thought it is a nice budget to stay but not till I checked in. I called the hotel few days before the trip to check whether there is any parking space provided. The person who answered the phone was not in good mood, I presumed. His tone was not friendly. On the day we checked in, the receptionist was not really friendly. There was no escalator, so we had to walk to the second floor by using the stairs. The door lock was loosen; there were ants in the room; there were stains on linen and bedsheet. I called to the front desk to ask for a room change. The answer that I got was : Your room is the best, we don't have any room for you. What we can do is to change your bedsheet and spray the mosquito/ insect spray. The cleaning lady came and helped us to change the linen and bedsheet. It was a difficult task for her as the bedsheets and linens that she brought over were all with minor and yellowish stains. We couldn't anything but to accept since I had paid for nights. There was an awful smell from the bathroom which I believe it was from the drainage system. Both of us had to bear with this condition for two nights. I couldn't sleep well even though I was exhausted. Initially I had booked another two nights for the following week via agoda.com but there wasn't charges yet. Under the free cancellation policy, I woke up at 1a.m. to cancel the booking. I won't recommend this hotel as the hotel operator doesn't upkeep the hotel condition and they do not really understand the meaning of hospitality and friendliness. I understand that with the price that we pay for, we shouldn't ask for more. However, the cleanliness should be taken care of especially pest control. If you do not mind with all these and you have tight budget, you can look for homestay which is really really near to Jonker Walk.

Will not come back again
We were there by 12.30 a.m.. The unfriendly receptionist give us room at third floor and the hotel doesn't have elevator. After we enter the room the tv is not function. We call the receptionist and he told us to come down and change room. We got room at the ground floor. The bed sheet is dirty. Towel is dirty and there is yellow stain thus i dont recommend to use it. No free parking. No soundproof. I can hear the phone ringing from front desk and people going downstairs also sounds from roadside. The room is small and no space to pray.

The room rate did not value for money
Convenient location with plenty of local foods nearby, walking distance to Jonker Street and staff are friendly. However the room is small for the price paid, facilities need to be seriously upkeep, toilet paips are broken, side entrance door touch panel is not working, no mineral waters provided and not even kettle for guests to boil water, and MYR3 charge for every extra pillow requested. The most pathetic is the hotel just used the raffia string to tie the spoiled shampoo dispenser at its location.
