Everything ok, suitable for holiday

Hot water was great. Blanket was so comfortable and warm at night. Food was good. Check in so smooth for online booking. Great view from balcony. But toilet too small.

Good. will recommend to others
6.3
Friendly staff. Stayed in room. Not conducive due to its location (near to the main road); noisy. Thin partition for each room resulting sleepless night (you can hear clearly the toilet being flushed away and people snoring.

Very noisy at night. In front of the villa is a restaurant that have karaoke session at night. Better bring along the earplug.

Not worth for money
Four of us stayed here for a night. The view from the back of our room was spectacular. However, the management needs to improve the amenities such as the the bedsheets and towels. The moment my friend slept on her bed, it crashed. The towels were of so poor quality that they did not dry well. The bathroom is of poor standard and the water couldn't run. I would not pay 150 for such an appalling room

Some Good Some Bad
My husband and I stayed 2 nights here and found the staff to be very nice and the dinner excellent. However the accommodation is appalling. We paid 150Rm a night and felt it is time the owners put some of their takings into the upkeep of the rooms. The bathroom in particular was dreadful, the toilet seat so old and damaged you wouldn't sit on it. The bed sheets were so worn they were thread bare, the old towels were so thin they wouldn't even dry your hands. The cost of 150Rm per night is not a realistic price for this very tired accom. Suggest you stay elsewhere and perhaps come by for dinner (chicken sweet and sour or ginger chicken) which the staff are very capable cooks.

Very basic but nice view
We stayed here for two nights in a private room for two. The rooms are to basic for the price and there is absolutly no taste involved in decoration. Getting in the shower is like putting an eliphant in a fridge. Still four stars because of the very friendly staff. Good Food that is so cheap they almost give you money for eating it. And an amazing view from the restaurant/chillinh area. Try the egg burger. Also a cool dog named Black and a fiew cats. All as friendly as the staff. Very close to national park to...

Beautiful views and great food
The hotel has the amenities of a basic hotel. There isn't much choice around Mount Kinabalu, but I found it was a great base to stay for a couple nights to sightsee around Poring and visit Sabah Tea plantation prior to our climb up Mt Kinabalu. There is a shop across the road from the hotel that sells basic amenities. The hotel has a restaurant; we had dinner there one night and the food was great. A highlight were the views from the restaurant and little balconies off the rooms. Although the hotel sits alongside a major road (take earplugs for sleeping) it is safe enough to walk to the national park - takes about 15 minutes.

Basic room with breakfast, noises from the main road
We stayed here for one night before climbing Mt. Kinabalu. The room is very basic and small compare with the price we pay. The bathroom too small but the best part of it, the water heater is working perfectly. The breakfast is simple (bread, baked beans, sausage/scrambled eggs) and works fine for me. We arrived quite late in the evening, but luckily there were still people around to help us check in. However, the downside of this place for me is the location of it which is just next to the main road (the sound of cars passing, dogs barking and people karaoke-ing)
