From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Firefly Park Resort by using North-South and Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor highway. Visitors from Kuala Lumpur city centre also can access to this resort by taking ELITE highway for approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes journey.

The concept of accommodation is chalet. Each well-appointed chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a living area. One bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds and another has 1 queen bed. One of the main activities here at Firefly Park resort is firefly tour in Bukit Belimbing. This resort operates the tour privately and the tour usually starts around 7pm and last tour ends at 10pm. The tour takes about 30 to 45 minutes and the ticket costs RM 15 per person. Visitors are reminded not to take pictures during touring as this will disturb the fireflies. In addition, adult and children swimming pool are also available. Besides that, there are various facilities and services offered here at Firefly Park resort. Among them are 24-hour room service, 24-hour reception and free car park. There are also facilities for disabled guests and elevators. For more information and assistance, guests can head to 24-hour front desk. In addition, there is mini market and shops nearby for any emergency needs.
Interesting Places Near Firefly Park Resort
Kuala Selangor Nature Park - Kuala Selangor Nature Park was created in 1987 and previously a golf course development. After that, the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), together with the Selangor State Government, rescued the 800 acre coastal site and develop the nature park. Besides mangrove swamp, the Nature Park spread over 800 acres of three distinct habitat which include inland secondary forests, muddy estuaries and mudflats, and a brackish lake. Besides that, the area also has more than 150 species of birds and an estimated 100,000 wading birds categorized into 30 species. In addition, there are also other wildlife such as monkey, crocodile and many more. Visitors can have experience watching the birds and wildlife animals via four trails which are the Egret Trail, Pangolin Trail, Coastal Bund and Langur Trail. Visitors are advised to bring along binoculars and camera with telephoto lens in order to see a better view of the birds and other animals. This park opens daily from 9.00am to 6.00pm and the entrance fees are RM4 for Adult, RM1 for Children (below 17 years old) and RM 2 for Senior Citizen (above 60 years old).
Kuala Selangor District Museum - Located around an hour from Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor District Historical Museum was originally known as Official Residence of Kuala Selangor District Officer. This museum displays histories related to Kuala Selangor as the Selangor earliest administration centre and development of the town and its surrounding area. Besides that, the museum also showcases the origins of Selangor Kuala Selangor was also a trading centre for the collection and export of tin. There are 7 section of the museum which explained the chronologies of history of Kuala Selangor. The museum is open daily from 9:30am to 5:30pm daily except Monday and the admission fee is free.
