- Backpacking
The place, bed sheet and pillows are very dirty and smell!

Service is good enough, they so kind even tough they can't speak melayu. but the room is dirty and smelly. the bath room too. and it's make me feel not comfort. even the room is good enough but I can't stand it. I can't really recommend this but if you just want spend at good location, so this is it.
- Backpacking
it was great for a backpacker like me.
- Romantic Vacation
The staff is friendly and helpful yet the room is not satisfying. Noise from outside especially the busy road can be heard because walls are thin. Loud noise when rain can be heard as well. A lot of mosquito in the room. Toilet has unpleasant smell. Old bed and pillows. No towel provided. The overall ambience would be better if the rooms are in better state.
- Business travel
It was a great time, I spend there. Each and every facilities they give very nicely.

The receptionist was unprofessional, I already showed the hotel voucher but he said the room was full, after I insisted downstairs I had paid finally I was given the room that had been repaired the toilet, toilet stopper and shower water out
There is no coordination between receptionist, janitor and boss. We checked in and were already in the room. With impolite employee they banged on our door very loudly. And when opened the door play nyelonong entered without permission. And even who we are! Supee talk is not clear and with high notes. The rooms are dirty. The floor was still full of dust. Bed linen dirty and bolong2. Not in love blankets and remote ac. As a result of the night we were cold. The water flow is very slow. Not recommended.
The blankets were not washed very dirty
- Backpacking
This place has a very strategic location close to downtown, very economical price and very easy transportation. The drawbacks I found mainly were the very bad wifi, the oddly scented bathrooms, the unavailability of footwear for the bathroom.

Huts in the city: great in theory, but barely slept
Firstly, staff are great; really friendly and helpful. I loved the idea of huts on the roof in the city, but in practice it was a terrible idea: The huts are nice enough but the sound insulation is terrible so you can't actually sleep with the constant sound of noisy cars and motorbikes racing by, and a number of guests seem to always be out on the balcony being loud (it's 2 am and I've not been able to sleep so far). The cribs downstairs are fine but a little grim, I spent my first night of three there - cold shower and broken furniture, but a little quieter. Earplugs are a must!

Great place for the price!
Found this place by accident, but was so happy I did. Nothing too fancy as the name would imply, but nothing wrong with it either. Bottom line: If you need a place to stay they can give you a nice room at a nice price!

Sleeping in huts on the roof top of Kuala Lumpur
What a great idea to put huts on a roof in the city centre of KL. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the view on the patio in front of the rows of huts is pointed towards the intersection with the skytrain with the Pavillion Shopping Centre further behind it. We stay here every time we get to KL, the staff is always very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. We would never want to stay anywhere else in KL. :-)

Hut in the city :)
We moved here after an awful night at another hotel and was very happy when we arrived. The room was clean, the hot water/shower worked well, the AC was great and there was also a tv but we didnt use it. The wifi worked well too :) The hotel is within walking distance of Pavilion, farenheit and lot 10 shopping malls as well as KL convention centre and SURIA (Twin towers). 10/10 for location Only downside was the noise from a nearby bar, but it really wasnt that bad. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again, huts in the city was a great concept :)

Great experience
When my friend and I arrived in KL we were extremely exhausted and a little lost. We eventually located the hotel - only to find out that it was the wrong one! Funky guesthouse apparently has five branches and we booked at funky hut, only we arrived at another branch. The staff handled this situation very well, they even had someone walk us to the right one! Here we could also lean back and relax a little while they were setting up the room very fast (we arrived about four hours early, this was no problem) and our bags were carried upstairs. The rooms there are very cute, lodges in the middle of the city and there was a place where you could sit down and watch the people on the streets. The lodge was clean and handsoap was provided. The location was perfect, very nearby Bukit Bintang station and there are lots of restaurants, shops (amongst them a mall) and clubs in the vicinity. When we wanted to go out at night we couldn't find a proper bar on our own (as I said we get lost easily) so we went to the reception and asked them for directions. They not only gave us directions, they even had someone of the staff go with us! He knew everything about the nightlife in KL and was very kind. We hung out with him and his friends for a couple of hours before going back. It is indeed quite noisy at night in the rooms and you can hear the neighbours (there was a lady singing on our right for a couple of minutes in the middle of the night), but we were too tired to care about this. Definitely an experience! Tldr; great service, good location, clean rooms and awesome staff. Would recommend!
