Staying in G inn was an awesome experience. It's a medical trip and our destination was Loh Guan Lye Hospital (+/- 300m from the hotel). The architecture is just like a big old style house for me. Maybe it was a house years ago. Inside, the hotel was clean, the room was clean, bed was comfy enough, and we had mini fridge inside the room. the exhaust fan was strong enough so that we didn't turn on the aircon at night. unfortunately, they do not provide breakfast for guests but, we can go and grab breakfast at nearby eateries.

G Inn is a three-star boutique hotel that is located in the middle of the town called Georgetown that is located in Penang Island. Georgetown has been declared as a UNESCO Heritage Site. What’s amazing about this inn is that it used to be a two storey heritage bungalow. It was then later converted into a heritage inn where most of its characters and also influences of their ancestors are still well kept until today. However, the inn is also given a breath of modernity to ensure that those who come here are still able to be comfortable, able to adapt and still being able to appreciate the architecture and design of the inn.

Since this inn was not a hotel to begin with, it did not have all the spaces like other hotels do. However, the architect managed to ensure that the spaces in the bungalow are to include café, several meeting rooms and also parking for their visitors.

Since the inn has its own café, they are sure to be able to provide food to their guests. The café offers local food to their guests to fit into the whole village vibe that goes with the inn. Not to mention it is what the guest would want to try. The meeting rooms are also plenty. Hence those who wish to have a corporate event, they may book the meeting rooms and enjoy a different setting of their meeting.

Those who have stayed here would agree that this inn is very unique and will definitely make those who come here either leisurely or on a business trip, they will surely feel calm and at home once they see the interiors of the inn. In accordance to the Malaysian government also there will be no GST applied to the room rates hence the room price is affordable to many people.
