The worst ever... Horrible experience
This name of hotel, Golden Court, has 3 branches at all different locations in Johor Bahru. We booked one of the branches through Hotels.com. But we got mixed up and we arrived to the other branch which was locatied in 147 Jalan Sri Perangi. There was a Chinese Malaysian staff in the front desk who seemed to be an around 40-50year old woman. And she said there had been no reservation for us. She checked the other branch but the others also firmly said 'no reservation for us'. Even we showed our booking itinerary to prove that we already paid for 4nights, but all the branch constantly said 'No'. Even they'd never tried to handle this obvious accident situation. Further more the Chinese Malaysian woman staff asked us to repay for the new reservation. It was around 4am so we had nothing to solve it. We paid again and slept in a room there. I'm not a picky traveller, but the condition of the room was worst ever. That part was still ok until we found a bugs and durst in our bed cover and blanket. We asked the Chinese Malaysian woman to change the blanket, then she just got rid of the durst with her hand and said 'smell it! It's clean now'....We asked her again to change at least the blanket cover then she said 'Ok. I will give you new one. But I'm not the house keeper, so I don't know how to change the cover' with angry voice. We were pretty easygoing traveller, but how she treated us like an animal. We decided not to sleep in the bad widely awake until we checkout to find the new hotel. We took the durty blanket out in front of our room, then the staff suddenly hit our room and started swearing.... Now I got a trauma from the worst hotel experience. Actually, it's not a hotel. Worse than sleeping in the street for sure. And when we asked the refund through Hotels.com, suddenly the hotel changed what they said and they made a excuse that 'the 4 Koreans couldn't speak English and Chinese both. So they misunderstood anything.' They pretended all things were our fault. So horrible. There is no one spoke a good english. That was also problem. They even couldn't understand our name when they checked the booking list and actually our reservation had no matter. Plus, they said 'what is Hotels.com? we've never heard that before'..... Not even cheap place.

Treated like animals, would have preferred to sleep on the street
Do not stay here, even if its your last resort! Paid for one night superior room with ensuite. After being dropped at its sister hotel, we eventually found our way to the correct hotel, no information on website regarding this. Smell as we approached the room was unbearable what could only be described as rotting rubbish! Upon entering room we found the toilet was broken, no alternative rooms available, asked for someone to come fix it at 8pm, 3 hours and no sign of maintenance enquire at reception to which the staff got very angry and had a terrible attitude, suggesting we didn't need a toilet for the night! This was at midnight, to which we were told we could have a full refund but we'd have to leave immediately, all other hotels booked out in town due to it being a Saturday and the holidays! They effectively were kicking us onto the streets! We stayed eventually, to be given a 5% discount in the morning, JOKE! The TV was broken aswell! Stay anywhere else!
