For Pangkor is ok.
Rooms are old and you can feel it. Sheets and towels are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Downstairs there is a shop (the cheapest one), and really good local restaurant (it was the best food I ate on Pangkor Island), the only problem is that you never know when it will be open. Wifi only available in lobby area.

Overated
Horizon Inn is built above a restaurant and grocery shop. You need to climb steep stairs which are not suitable for old people or small kids. The rooms have a small balcony either with sea view or hill view (better lock the door as there are many monkey around looking for food). The rooms are badly lit, NO tea/coffee/cups/water provided. The toilet are mushy and have no hot water. I've stayed there for 3 days 2 nights & the hotel didn't change the towels or bedspread for us at all. On the brighter side, Teluk Nipah beach is just across the road with many (not cheap) water activities and food stalls. Teluk Nipah is a good location but not Horizon Inn.

Nice place
I had a nice stay here. The rooms have a balcony facing the beach. Also there is a big balcony for us to have a good time eating together. The beach is just across the road. So many water activities there. Food stalls also very near along the beach. Food there quite expensive but the seafood is fresh. Horizon Inn is the best palce to stay in Nipah Bay. Room is big enough for a small family.

Shabby!
Horizon Inn is an appartment building, build above a restaurant and shops along the main road next to the beach. The rooms have a small balcony with see view. The food is great! The rooms are shabby: sheets weren't clean, sink was broken, bathroom light was blue (like anit-junkie-toilets) and we had company of a giant cockroach. We booked for two nights, but left the place after one night... There are definitely better places to stay in Nipah, for the same price, of just a tiny litlle bit more. For example: go for Ombak Inn, just around the corner.
