The place was good despite the toilet was not so clean, but it's okay overall. The coridor is cleaned all the time, that makes it good.

Instead of single room with one bed I got single room with 2 small beds. Pillows are like stones. Towel was not provided. They don't have adaptors for the phone to recharge even for sell/rent. Hostel is far from KL sentral. Hostel also positioned right in the middle of a dirty street market. Very stinky inside the rooms. Dirty everywhere. Blankets are too short. One of the worst hostels I ever been around the world. Paid 150 rb IDR for 1 night and that was a mistake. For this money I could find something way more comfortable and better.

Friendly staff and great location
Stayed here for three nights in between India and Myanmar and found it a great place to stay. Very friendly staff and was within walking distance of restaurants, the Twin Towers (about half hour walk) and right above a 7-Eleven. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to KL.

Cheap, but okay
We stayed in Hostel Cosmopolitan for two nights and it was okay, nothing more, nothing less. Accommodation was basic, but seems to be clean. Our room was without window, although it certainly need some airing to get rid of that rancid smell. We had room with fan and with A/C also and it worked well. I didn't like, that you have to pay deposit for everything, for room, but also for borrowing towel or extra sheet. But overall price was still cheap. Location is good, right under hostel is some kind of market with food and clothes stalls and few minutes walking is a Chow Kit market, according to many the cheapest and the best marketplace in Kuala Lumpur. Literally few steps from hostel is Curryhouse restaurant with great Indian food. Monorail stop Chow Kit is also very close, maybe 2 minutes.

Brilliant budget choice in KL
I was a little wary of this place as it was so cheap and the reviews were mixed, but it was a great budget stay in KL. The place was clean, the beds were comfy, the Wi-Fi was pretty decent and the staff were friendly. It's not tanked up with amenities but that's why it's so cheap. There are also some cracking food places a stone's throw away. It suits the budget traveller perfectly.

Average hostel but very cheap and friendly!
I stayed here for one night with my partner during our travels in July 2014. Our taxi driver really struggled to find the hostel and when we eventually did we were a bit skeptical as from the outside it looked like a disused building! However once inside the staff were friendly and there was a nice, welcoming atmosphere. We had a double room which was basic but had everything we needed i.e. a bed and bathroom! It could have been cleaner but we slept in sleeping bag liners anyway. It was good for a night but not sure how much longer we would have stayed there had we been in KL longer.
