I stayed at 10th floor and this time, I experienced the shower water pressure was unsatisfactorily (slow). Other aspect, so far no issue.

We had a great stay! Frontdesk and Housekeeping people we're very hospitable, friendly and approachable! They always smile and greet! Same with the male staff in the dining area. I just don't like the female staff in dining most especially the one who accepts the breakfast vouchers, she looks like one of the managers I think. She looked irritated when we went there as if she doesn't want us to be there. We felt like we are not welcome. I never saw her smile all throughout our 7-day stay... I hope they will also have a 24-hour airport transfer service next time.. I will surely go back to this hotel!!! Definitely worth it and highly recommended!

Even though this is an old 3 stars hotel, it is well maintained. Good location in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. Most interesting city spots can be reached within walking distance.

1. The security guard allowed me to park my car at hotel parking lot in front of the hotel entrance. Normally this space is for hotel vehicles. 2. My service request for repair of the malfunctioning refrigerator was immediately entertained.

The place was clean. The receptionist was nice and helpful. But the bathtub in my room does not work. I wish the hotel would provide free breakfast for every room purchase above RM 130.

I have stayed at Hotel Shangri-la almost every time I visit KK. It is an older hotel but have nicely renovated deluxe rooms. Amenities are basic but functional and sufficient. The rooms are well kept and clean. Reception is always friendly and helpful. Sharing some photos of the wonderful nearly seafood market by the sea short walking distance from the hotel.
