- Family vacation
Sangat2 ministry nice and friendly, we arrived early and allowed to check-in without contact charge. Breakfast is also pretty good. Total ministry, nice bangetlah and highly recommended! Close to the Pudu LRT, kfc and sevel.
A very disappointing hotel, no guests staying at this hotel, but miles are relocated to the hotel, the facilities are disappointing, smelly and dirty, many broken appliances
- Backpacking
the rooms are good, the bathrooms are clean, the receptionist is very friendly, the AC is cold, there is a lift, great curbside location (jl pudu), 5 mins walk to pudu LRT, near sevel, if there is morning selling food in front of hotel, morning
- Family vacation
Near the restaurant, wifi top, MRT tibggal road, the morning in front of the hotel there is a sale of small cakes.

Much improved since the earlier reviews
I am happy to report that this hotel is at least acceptable, and so has got a good deal better since it was last reviewed here. My room was spacious, and while it had no window I had a decent desk and chair and a comfortable double bed, while the air conditioning worked well. Wi-fi was at best so-so. Before I paid I checked the internet connection in my room with my phone and it worked, but once I had checked in it only worked sometimes. Breakfast is free, and not quite worth the price: some people might be amused by the bread still in a plastic wrapper shouting that it is the cheapest available, and that more or less sets the tone. Fortunately there are places nearby serving good food and coffee first thing in the morning.

Biggest regret
Location was so-so. Lobby stinks. Reception was ok. Parking didn't feel secure. Given a room with window view; of the back alley facing kitchens. Room was roach infested at night. Checked out at 0100hrs. Never slept there. Never going back there.

Well recommended to anyone
This hotel has changed their name into SUNGAI EMAS HOTEL. It's been a great location to stay in the kl city centre. It's also provided fewer car park space behind their main entrance. The room looks a little old, but on overall clean and cosy throughout the bedding area. So, if you are looking for budget places, this one would be the great in the city centre.

My family and I stayed in this hotel during our visit to Kuala Lumpur. That was our 2nd visit. First and foremost, we were confused as we couldn’t locate this hotel nearby the main road. Eventually we found it and realised that they had recently changed their name to HOTEL SUNGAI EMAS!! But with the same friendly faces. :) The hotel location is very good – near to Pudu LRT and shopping malls such as Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Lot 10 and so forth. Secondly, I LOVE their staffs!! They are simply amazing and always ready to help. They even contacted cab for us to walk around. Although we didn’t go for it at last, they still show us the best route to walk around. This place is good value for the money. Big room and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

I lost $..
Don't stay here.. On oct5-7,2012 we stay in this hotel. During our last day,we just went down to take our breakfast..it never comes to our mind that we must bring our wallet since we bring the key go down and just take our brkfast for while before we check out..then we go back in our room. Never check mt wallet. We only knew when we reach in the plane. I really feel so disappointed even my sis said she checks how much $ left in my wallet coz she is the once fixing our thing that night ready to go back to SG. No wonder the $ inside my wallet crumpled. They are so clever they didn't get all my $ took $100,maybe this is the theft style so it's not so obvious. I try to call the manager even if its long distance just to inform them. I feel bad when they said they cannot see in theis CCTV who enter in my room coz its only in the lift they can see who people go in and out..
