Imperial Heritage Hotel is the place to stay during a vacation to the historical city of Melaka. The Imperial Heritage Hotel is one of the newly built hotels in the town and it reflects greatly on the city. The building of the hotel is built in the European style with a dash of Peranakan and Portuguese feels to it. It is located within the UNESCO attraction site, just a walking distance to places that tell stories of Melaka. Apart from its location, this hotel also offers a convenient parking lot. For those who are frequent to Melaka, or locals, they all know how limited parking spaces in the town. Thus having a hotel with a spacious parking lot is something that should be taking into consideration when booking a place to stay in Melaka. The hotel offers five types of room and the price starts from RM 100 per night, which is rather inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel also offers a great selection of local delicacies and also international flavours at its restaurant.
How to Get to Imperial Heritage Hotel
The Imperial Heritage Hotel is located at Jalan Merdeka in the Melaka City Centre. It is easy to get to the hotel as it is in the middle of the town and there are a number of ways to get there. The easiest way is definitely by driving to the location. The drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre will take approximately two hours for a 149-kilometres journey via the North-South Highway. For those who prefer to get onto a bus, the Melaka Sentral is just fifteen minutes away from the Imperial Heritage Hotel and buses from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka will cost starting from RM 10 one-way. There are public transports available in Melaka but they are limited to intercity buses, taxis and trishaws. The intercity buses have a fixed price depending on the location, while taxis usually use their meters. For trishaws, however, it is recommended to ask and negotiated the price before getting on it.
Different Types of Room in Imperial Heritage Hotel
The Imperial Heritage Hotel offers five types of rooms, with different prices for each. All of its room has the basic in-room facilities such as a mini-bar, a coffee/tea maker set, a TV, a desk and a chair and also an in-room safe. The bathrooms are also en-suite, with showers and a hairdryer with complimentary toiletries. The rooms are also equipped with black-out curtains. The Imperial Heritage Hotel most inexpensive room is the Imperial Deluxe, at RM 100 a night. The Imperial Deluxe is the room with 247 sqft of space, with an option to have a double bed or two Twin beds. It has a complimentary Wi-Fi connection. The rooms under Imperial Deluxe are a non-smoking room. A level above the Imperial Deluxe is the Heritage Deluxe which comes in the size of 344 sqft. The Heritage Deluxe also comes with the bed type option and it is a non-smoking room type. The Heritage Deluxe have the free cancellation policy, free breakfast service and Wi-Fi connection. It is RM 160 a night. The Executive Room in Imperial Heritage Hotel comes with a price tag of RM 175 a night and the view of the city. The room is a comfortable 430 sqft that can fit either one double bed or two twin beds. For those who are looking a bigger room to fit their family of three or four, the Family Triple Room in the Imperial Heritage is a good choice as it comes with three large twin beds in a 364-sqft room. The Family Triple Room is at RM 195 a night. The biggest room in Imperial Heritage is the Deluxe suite which is a 581-sqft of space. This type of room has one Queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The Deluxe suite also has a kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, cookware and dishware. The Deluxe Suite is RM 245 a night.

Interesting Place near Imperial Heritage Hotel
A Famosa - This is definitely what people will associate Melaka most with. A Famosa is a Portuguese fortress located in Melaka. It is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in the South East Asia region. The only remaining part of A Famosa is the Porta de Santiago, a small gatehouse. A trip to Melaka is not complete without a short visit to A Famosa and its surrounding area. It is just two kilometres from the Imperial Heritage Hotel.
