Great getaway and family vacation spot
The coffee house have a variety of dishes so you better take/buy the breakfast option when you stay here. The in-house swimming pool is quite large and not your normal rectangle shape. There is a section for small kids and a 2 sides pool for adult to choose from. The water fountain and the fishes inside are very calming. They can cater for meetings and large scale event / conventions here as they have a big ballroom and halls. The chalets are at the back in between the pool and the sea. There is a space athe the back if you want to keep in shape facing the sea. They also have a gym at the hotel. For the golf enthusiasts, the Morib Golf Club is just beside the resort.

Service surprise :)
Went there for a short one night stay seminar sponsored by Selangor state government. The property itself is old, rundown and need some refurbishment. However, I am quite surprise that the staffs there were friendly and helpful. They smile, greet and willing to help your needs although its quite a shame that they couldn't give a complementary hot tea(I would have rated it 5 if they manage to get us the tea though). But I guess, they are doing their job ethically. Young people lead by a good senior( I thinks shes the manager there).

Stayed here for 1 night on Tuesday due to some work need to settle in Banting. The next day, Wednesday is a public holiday - Wesak Day. Thus, we planned to rest at this hotel. We booked this hotel thru booking.com because it's look class compare with others nearer hotel. It'a nice surronding & cozy hotel. We get RM220 nett per night. The room is spacious but the furniture serious need to upgrade. On the next day when we want to go for breakfast, the girl said there is no buffet for breakfast & we have to choose from ala card menu which is very2 limited & cheap. When we ask why no buffet breakfast, she said because not much people staying today! During breakfast we see more than 15 people breakfast with us. From my opinion they should do simple buffet breakfast for their customer. Something like fried rice, toast bread, baked bean, sausages or porridge. We not satisfied the way this hotel treat customer & decided about the breakfast, especially on public holiday! We choose this hotel because it's look class compare with others cheap hotel in town. Better we sleep at the cheap hotel which cost below rm100/night & get breakfast at the local stall !

Garden chalets versus sea view chalets
The first time we stayed here, we booked the sea view chalet which was a ripoff in terms of value for money. This time round, we chose the garden view chalet which was relatively cheaper and the interior and furnishing is identical. Furthermore, there really isn't any "sea view" eventhough the name suggests it. Impian Morib Hotel is not a beach front property. It is perched up on an embankment that leads out to the sea. Our chalet this time was facing a nicely manicured and well kept garden which was just as good and without forking out more money for that elusive sea view. The decor and furnishing in the chalet was the same, aged and needed some updating. The attached bathroom was basic and functional, nothing fancy. At the very least, the air conditioner in this chalet was working just fine and sufficient to keep the chalet cool throughout our stay. Fortunately the electricity in the chalet can be kept on even when we were out, by detaching the door key from the power switch card (the plastic thing attached to the room key that is inserted into the power switch slot) Breakfast the next day was totally rubbish again.... cheap stuff and limited variety. Just a fried noodle, fried rice, canned baked beans, fried egg and plain porridge. For the price they charge, I would have expected a more decent spread and quality. Parking around the compound was easy as we were there during slack season. Overall, a nice getaway, not too far from the city. The key highlights of this hotel was the lanscaping and neatly trimmed grass and hedges. I always enjoyed my morning walk around the hotel compound. This hotel has a fair deal of potential and if they continue to upkeep the hotel gounds, uodate the chalet's furnishing and fittings and sned their front desk staff for a proper hospitality training, this hotel may just be great.

Comfortable and quiet stay
We were here for weekend gateway.. seafood hunting.. I asked for the room facing the pool for one night. It is RM 255 including breakfast for two. Had to add RM 12 per kid for breakfast. Pool was not as crowded as in Gold Coast Morib. This place is a great place to stay if you want to avoid noise and crowd. As for breakfast, I had no issue, there were few choices, nasi lemak, mee goreng, sandwiches etc. They just need to improve the taste and freshness.
