Beautiful Location Nice Staff
The hotel is in a beautiful location on the other side of the island from the ferry so you will need to phone them for a transfer or get a taxi. The location is beautiful on a sheltered beach where you have some great diving and snorkeling and boats. There is jungle around too so monkeys and just feels like paradise. The facilities themselves were not worth the money tho as the chalet for one I booked had no tv and was clean but everything was worn down. Internet is spotty and only available in the dining area. The shop and other facility attractions as on the booking websites were not as impressive and I think were made to seem very glossy....the beds were clean and firm but the headboard was dirty as was the bathroom fixtures. The staff were really nice. Bring insect repellent with you and make sure that if you have alternative dietary needs you bring food from the mainland or Singapore. Overall ok but probably worth half of what I paid 71 SG per night.

Great if you need some serious downtime !
We stayed here originally for 3 nights to catch up on writing after 4 months of travelling and ended up staying for two weeks! This place is great for chilling out, walking or jogging on the beach, Kayaking, windsurfing, swimming , snorkelling, trekking through jungle etc. You get the picture. Bring your own alcohol from the duty free shops on the west side of the island if you drink as it is not for sale here. They do not mind keeping your beers cold and drinking there though. The only gripe after 2 weeks is the repetitive music in the restaurant but apart from that it was what we wanted. There is only one road to this side of the island and it is steep and bumpy. This is the quieter side of an already very quiet island. Not a party island at all so it has been unspoilt so far by the inevitable mess that is caused when places become a haven for people just looking to rave it up. Its back to nature and innocent. Room tip - Get the room upgrade as for a small extra amount you get a fridge and much larger room!

Worst experience ever
The food horrible and experience as the squid was too salty in all 3 different variety types of food, besides that even after informing he staff they ignored us. And they were very lazy, order food and straight sit down and press phone. Wifi connection was the worst in the whole kg.juara. Overall will never go to juara beach again. Santai beach bistro was million times better

It was ok !!
We came here for 2 nights and stay in the room with the sea view (normal price is 140 and because of the public holiday they make it 180)..the room was ok except water heater not working, television also not working, ants everywhere, mosquitos everywhere and a wifi like a snails super duper slow..imposible to find a beer, the staffs was unfriendly, restaurant was close but there are some another cafe to just to survive.. Afterall,we're happy to had fun in the right spot where u fall asleep and wake up in morning with the sounds of the waves..
