Kapal Terbang Guest House is one of the many accommodations available in the Langkawi Island, Kedah. The houses and the villas are still shaped like a typical house. The name ‘Kapal Terbang’ most probably derived from its proximity to the Langkawi International Airport, just three kilometers away from the guesthouse. The Kapal Terbang Guest House is a great place to stay while vacationing in Langkawi with its spacious and comfortable place.
How to Get to the Kapal Terbang Guest House
Langkawi Island is not connected to the mainland of Peninsular Malaysia. Like most of the islands in Malaysia, to access to Langkawi Island, one has to take a boat or a ferry ride. There are only two jetties from the mainland Malaysia that have ferries going to the Langkawi Island; the Kuala Kedah jetty and the Kuala Perlis jetty. For those who are traveling from the south of Malaysia, such as Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru, Kuala Kuah jetty is closer compared to the Kuala Perlis jetty. Ferries from both jetties bring both passengers and their vehicles such as motorbikes and cars to cross the Straits of Malacca to reach the Langkawi Island. Passengers and their vehicles will disembark at Kuah Jetty, some fourteen kilometers away from the Kapal Terbang Guest House. The drive to the guesthouse is easy as the roads leading to it are paved and they will take just twenty minutes. The easiest way to travel to Langkawi is definitely by getting on a plane. Langkawi Island has an international airport that receives flights from most cities in Malaysia and several international flights from cities nearby.
