The great thing was the cleanliness of the room. I really had a comfortable stay with my girlfriend Location is good, very close by to one of the famous Nyonya shop.

Housekeeping Letdown
This hotel is located outside the preferred Melaka area (Jonker Street) but is a short taxi ride away. The staff is super friendly, the onsite restaurant serves very good food and the "old toy and motorcycle" theme of the hotel is refreshing. The shower was hot, the AC was cold, the bed was comfortable and since it was quiet, we slept well. Wifi was great the first two days, but disappeared on our last morning at the hotel. The problem with the hotel is the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival, there was dried pee and hair on the toilet and lots of dust in the bathroom. The sheets were clean, but the stains on the mattress pad were offputting. In my opinion, the hotel should definitely replace any stained mattress pads. You could tell that housekeeping only hit the "high" spots. We discussed these problems with reception at checkout since they asked about our stay. There is a McDonalds and a very good Indian Restaurant about a twenty minute walk away from the hotel. We paid RM20 to reach the hotel from Melaka Sentral Bus Station.

Value for money
The room is clean and with all the necessary e.g. Kettle, fridge, slipper, tea bag, toothbrush ......The location is ok if you have own transport . However without transport might be a problem to move around. There is no 7-11 or grocery shop nearby. I have stay for 2 nights . The first night was quiet. The second night was noisy as can hear the sound from the cafe at downstairs . The lobby is a plus point. It seems like a mini museum . Good place to hang around and enjoy a cup of tea.

Lovely interior, clean hotel
The location is quite far from the town area, but can easily ride on uber/Grab charged around RM5-7 to Jonker St. It is located at a new shop lot area with only a coffee shop and a newly open bubble tea cafe as its neighbor. It is rather quiet and empty at night due to its remote location. Interior and surrounding area are perfect for photographs and shows the identity of Peranakan. Beautiful tiles inside the lobby area and corridor. There are no private/guarded parking area, just remember not to leave valuable items as it may attract robbers. The room is small but it did not bother us much as the cleanliness is tip top, plus we only spend a night there and most of the time we are out and about at the town area. Bear in mind there are no lift, only stairs and would be a hassle for the elderly or family with small kids. But you may leave the stroller at the reception. Staffs are friendly and they even helped us to carry the luggage up the stairs. Overall the stay was good, but needs improvement on facilities. E.g breakfast buffet/parking area.

Incredible nonya food at its restaurant
We came here from KL on a recommendation from a local - it's far from the touristy bits of Melaka and the food was just wonderful. We had the Assam udang, chicken rendang and Ikan petal and finished with cendol. If you want a truly authentic meal in Melaka you have to give this a go.

Nice exterior and at one glance , fine for short stay
Small rooms but sufficient for short stay. The drainage near the toilet is not very good. Not for people with sensitive noses. Great lobby and fast wifi at lobby. Hair dryer on request. Best for those who drive. Parking is free but open-air. On hot days, your butt may fry!
