The Crown Loft deserves a Crown
If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate with your girlfriends, have some wine, chilling and having a great conversation the whole night, the Crown Loft at the Kingwood Boutique Hotel Miri is definitely the place to be. Reasonably priced, right smack in the middle of town if you fancy bar hoping later at night. Not forgetting their staffs-absolutely professional, friendly and fast in responding be it emails or physically attending to your request at the room. Overall a brilliant stay for me and my girlfriends.

Say here sponsor by Roche
It's a nice looking hotel, friendly staffs.I appreciate that. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the food because I am rushing to checking out in the early morning on the next day. Because my stay here sponsored by somebody so I don't need to think about the cost. Usually if I go to Miri I just looking for cheap hotel. But if you don't have problem with budget u can try this hotel. It's completed with every basic things you need during the stay. It's suitable for couples for honeymoon trip. The bathroom n toilets wall just made by glasses. U can see your partner inside..not good for friends or non relationship group because it's not good in terms of privacy. But if u were alone then you have no problem and you can do anything you want just like its your private room. Because this location near to the bar and pub area so u can hear some noises during the night, sometimes the sound of noisy car passing by until morning. It's not good if you are the sleep early types..Overall, I am quite satisfied with my stay here.

Value and classy boutique hotel
True to it’s name, it’s a very modernly designed hotel. Heard it was recently renovated. The room and furniture looks new and artistic. I like their service and the restaurant serves good breakfast and lunch. The best part is that the rate is very reasonable.

Poor hotel, care and attention to basic safety expectations. Leaving aside the noise from 'buskers' outside which we had raised earlier, only to be offered ear plugs and being advised to 'call the police ourselves as we have tried our best but no-one listens' advice. Ear plugs? They seemed to think this was reasonable solution even when I asked what would happen if these prevented us from potentially hearing a fire alarm. This was a sign of what was to come. 14 year-old-son finished brushing his teeth, thought the lamp was a touch lamp so touched it to turn it off. Instead it left the base (not secured well to the table - as was ours in our adjoining and connecting room). He got an electric shock when he picked it up. When looking at it, there were two sets of wires exposed without insulation tape or a junction box. Thankfully he was ok. Why is this decorative illuminated mirror even necessary and if it is (for stylistic purposes), why are electrics near water areas. Indeed the plugs sockets close by could easily be splashed with water when washing hands etc. Handyman seemed more interested in apportioning blame to my son and could not seem to fix it. Hotel staff could not move us and did not apologise. Thankfully, he did not need the hospitalisation offered by the hotel manager/owner who also said that she 'didn't want' me 'to come back with another story' if something later happened to my son. Dreadful hotel and one to avoid. Stay at your own risk.

a wonderful and stunning hotel!
The hotel staff were very friendly and kind & made my stay at the hotel more comfortable! The room didn't felt too small, just right, (if you aren't a short person like i am) although wifi is a little slow but that's not really a huge problem. They have a wide selection of food and drinks. from Asian cuisine to Western, they all tastes delicious! If you want to try something or local cuisine, there are restaurants and cafes nearby too! There's also a shopping mall nearby and it's only a five minute walk from the hotel (or less than that). Other than that, I'd say that I enjoyed my stay there. It's very convenient and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
