Bahau Bus Terminal is a landmark of a bus terminal or station situated closely to the town center of Bahau which is under the district of Jempol, located in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes worth of journey away from the state capital of Seremban, being administered under the Jempol District Council. The terminal is named after the town of Bahau, where it is believed that the name is derived from a Chinese phrase literally translated as the “Horse’s Mouth”.

The terminal has been around since the early days of the town and keeps on getting upgrade and renovation from time to time in order to maintain its function and making it relevant with times. In present, the terminal has its own convenience stores and food stalls in addition to the sheltered waiting area and ticket counters that would allow visitors to fill in their tummies while waiting for their buses.

Due to its close proximity to the town area and its unique Minangkabau roof design, it is easily found when walking through the town alongside other facilities such as banks, shops, restaurants, gas stations, schools, government offices, churches, mosques, post offices and many more. This is especially true if visitors are to go to the town by bus, since the terminal would be their first destination upon reaching Bahau town.

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive through the North-South Expressway (PLUS) exiting at Senawang before continuing the journey towards Bahau Bus Terminal using Jalan Kuala Pilah / Route 51. The journey could take up around two hours or less depending on the current traffic situation.

By Train

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, visitors can catch the Express Rail Link (ERL) train which goes to KL Sentral/Bandar Tasik Putrajaya/Cyberjaya/Salak Tinggi/KLIA route. There, one can board the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) southbound coach and stop by the Seremban station before opting for public transportation to go to Bahau Bus Terminal.

By Bus

The nearest express bus terminal is located at Terminal One, Seremban. Take the trip directly to Seremban from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) terminal using express bus services such as Sanwa Tours, KPB Express and Kesatuan Express. From here, hop on a local route bus to Bahau Bus Terminal.
