Belaga Airport is an airport in Belaga, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. Belaga STOLport serves the small town of Belaga in Sarawak. It is a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) airport, built to accommodate the needs of passengers and travellers in remote areas. Belaga is the capital of the Belaga District in Kapit Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is located on the upper reaches of the Rajang River, 120 kilometers northeast of Kapit and slightly less than 100 kilometers from the South China Sea coast near Bintulu. The district population as of 2010 was 37,102 people. Belaga was established in the early 1900s when a few Chinese traders set up shops and started trading with the Orang Ulu which supplies essentials such as kerosene, salt and manufactured goods. It is also a major centre for the logging business where the huge scale logging operations is close to the Kalimantan border. For such a small village Belaga has a large number of expensive cars and 4WDs to drive around Belaga town and the main attraction here is the longhouse tour which shows the traditional tribe culture here.

Belaga is one of the best places to see the longhouses which show the interior detailed design as well as traditional costumes, dances, foods like jungle fern and wild boar, manufacturing methods and local rice farms. The tribe people here like to give gifts to visitors as a show of appreciation to their hospitality. They also sell some of their handmade crafts and accessories such as necklace and earrings.

On 23 rd to 27 th July annually, there are traditional celebration features all the indigenous tribes and longhouse people in a weeklong event of games and an inter-longhouse regatta challenge. Many spectators can watch their exciting and fun games and visitors also can join together with them to experience traditional culture games.
