Little India is always a bustling street. Located at Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, this place used to be a simple residential neighbourhood but was recently transformed into a wide street with Indian stores and restaurants run by the country’s Indian community in 2009 by the prime minister. Little India now spans from Jalan Travers to Jalan Tun Sambathan. There is an information kiosk at Jalan Thamby Abdullah and a three-storey Indian bazaar at the end of Jalan Tun Sambanthan. The highlight of the street is the 35-foot fountain at the junction. To get to Little India in Brickfields, you can either take Putra LRT or KL monorail and stop at KL Sentral.
