University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is start opening a new campus in the peninsula and across the South China Sea. They have opened one campus that has been located in a very prestige area in Seri Kembangan which is beside MINES Shopping Mall and Mines Resort & Palace of Golden Horses. It is also located beside KTM Train Station, 15 minutes’ drive to Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
The university offers a selection of part-time postgraduate courses for local and international students. The center offers Masters in Learning Sciences, lasting 24 months, Human Resource Development, lasting 18 to 48 months, Master of Advance Information Technology and Corporate, lasting 18 to 36 months and Master in Business Administration, lasting 18 to 48 months.
The nearest airport to Sarawak University is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Once you reach airport you can take taxi to get to the university where it takes approximately 41 minutes’ drive away.
The Sarawak University is linked by North-South Highway and it is also well-connected by other major highways includes Besraya, SILK Highway, North-South Central Link, Damansara- Puchong Highway, KESAS Highway and MRR2 Highway.
If you travel from KLIA you can choose either the Express Rail Link (ERL) or KLIA transit to KL Sentral Station. From KL Sentral Station, catch Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) train to Serdang KTM Station. If you travel from KLCC, take Putra LRT train to KL Sentral then later transit to Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) train to Serdang KTM Station. It takes only 5 minutes’ walk from the Serdang KTM Station to Sarawak University.
You can board RapidKL Bus or Metro Bus from Kuala Lumpur to the Sarawak University.
Malay Heritage Museum is an interesting and attractive museum located within the campus of University Putra Malaysia (UPM) at Serdang.
