The location is nice. Was upgraded to a water villa because of some renovations. The place looks a bit worse for wear. The buildings have really aged badly. The worse thing was that the bed bedclothes were not really clean. There were a few strands of long hair on the bed and neither of us have long hair. There were only one towel for each of us. No face towel or hand towel. Staff service was really friendly and efficient.

Great place to stay with your family. Recommended to the others who wish to visit Langkawi. One more thing is their staff is very friendly and don't hesitate to get help from them if needed

Wouldn’t recommend unless desperate.
It is beyond old and run down. The rooms smell of mould. The staff can barely speak English which makes getting any help or finding your way really hard. It is also off the beaten track so you have to catch a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. Literally some of the rooms are falling to pieces.

We travelled in 4 pax.room 206 deluxe family seaview. Furnitures are mainly old and most of the plug points are broken. View from the room is stunning. Room was spacious and enough to accomodate 4 pax (with additional of 1 extra bed). Breakfast was average,located at the neighbouring hotel.but there is a free buggy ride to the hotel. I like this hotel because the fact its quite and serene.also,nearby to airport. Staffs were friendly and accomodative. This hotel has a lot of potential but need more consistent maintenance and renovation. If youre looking for a hotel slightly above average,this is the place that u should stay at in langkawi

it was almost sunset when my family and i had arrived to the resort through island airport by rental car in the mid summer 2016, we didn't find the warm welcoming which we expected from the receptionist girl, was not so professional with check-in procedures (slowly), nice clean & completed rooms at the first level far from reception, due to we ride a golf car to arrive, we were looking for a nearby restaurant to get our dinner we don't find the good one we expected, in the next morning a place of breakfast was full by big middle east family, which can cause a little chaos and mess (you have to be there before 8 am) specially during schools holidays (July & august) , a restaurant was not so completed to motivate to come ! nice small pool but bad beach with dark mud !? was the nearest to airport (less than a 2 miles) !

Studio @ Langkawi Lagoon Resort The room was spacious but the condition was not what we see online - not well maintained with leaking stains on the ceiling and even the wall paper in some areas were coming off. Kitchen was well equipped though. TV - Only possible to watch Channel NewsAsia and another Chinese entertainment channel; the rest are all preview channels. Aircon was only cold on the first night out of the three nights of our stay. Response was fair as certain times was quick but others were slow and even no response at times! Disappointed!

All the buildings are in terrible condition
We spent 2 nights there with my family in February 2017, and it was very bad experience. The resort has a wonderful location, nicely built and has nice facilities but all in ruins. I don't understand how can it be a 3 or 4 star hotel! We should have suspected as it was a very good deal, but we never thought that the reason of the relatively good price is that it is in an absolutely horrible condition. All the buildings , but the wooden chalets are even dangerous in my opinion, we were scared to go to the terrace, the wood is so old, and not maintained at all. Patches on the curtains, cigarette burn on the bad sheet... The staff was friendly, and tried to make our stay pleasant, but no dining option, except for one restaurant, where the staff was not so friendly, and there were not so many choices. It is very sad, because the location is very nice, but it seems like it had better days. Empty bar by the pool, may be it has never worked and so on. Anyway, it is incomparable with the photos on their site, may be that's why it was very disappointing. Once again, the staff was very kind, it was truly not their fault that the hotel is in such a terrible condition.
