Le Village Beach Resort is located in Beserah along the renowned Balok Beach. This hotel is the perfect destination for water sports fans. Positioned in the midst of a prime location, this area is just one of the world’s most well-known windsurfing areas. The resort provides rooms that are well-furnished and offers both the more modern hotel rooms as well as traditional kampong-style chalets. It boasts of a “back-to-nature” ambience with large tropical trees lined along the fabulous beachfront, swaying palm trees and with landscaped greens surrounding the 6-acre site. How to get to Le Village Beach Resort
By Flight - Malaysia Airlines is the only full-service carrier offering direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kuantan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport. Direct flights are available every day of the week will take approximately 40 minutes. Sultan Ahmad Shah Flight terminal (KUA) is within a 30 minutes’ drive away. Taxis are readily available at the airport to take you to the resort.
By Car - The Resort is an ideal getaway being just 3 hours from Kuala Lumpur and 20 minutes from Kuantan town. Visitors driving in from Kuala Lumpur can take the E33 Karak Highway and then take the E8 exit to Kuantan. Visitors can then proceed to the Gebeng Bypass and take the exit toward Jalan Jabor - Al Muktafi Billah Shah/route 14. Visitors are then to take Jalan Pintasan Kuantan/Route 3/AH18 to Jalan Kuantan - Kemaman/Route 2 in Kampung Tanjung, Kuantan. The resort will be on the left.
By Bus - Etika Express, LA Holidays, Mayang Sari, Transnasional, Konsortium, Mata Air, Kesatuan Express, Mega Jaya Express and Plusliner are a few of the bus companies that provide bus services from KL to Kuantan. The journey will take about 3 to 3.5 hours depending on the traffic condition on Karak Highway. The bus fare for the bus from KL to Kuantan is around RM 23.00 to RM 24.00. The departure points for coaches going to Kuantan in Kuala Lumpur are either at the Southern Integrated Terminal (TBS) or Pekeliling bus terminal. The arrival point in Kuantan is at the new bus terminal, Kuantan Sentral located at Indera Mahkota which is a 20 minutes’ drive from the resort.
Types of Rooms in Le Village Beach Resort
The Resort offers over 100 rooms ranging from suites and standard/ superior rooms. The suites rooms offer a better view and are sized approximately 40.2 sqm. Each room comes with a separate sitting area, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with hot and cold shower. The rooms also come complete with a television, mini fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Superior Room also comes with a better view and are sized 27 sqm. Superior rooms offer the choice of a double or twin bed equipped with a television, refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities. A standard room will offer basic hotel amenities such as air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with hot and cold shower. For those wanting a more rustic feel for their vacation can opt to stay at the chalets. The Kampong style timber-based chalets are sized 24 sqm and come with a balcony. The luscious greens that surround the chalet will certainly make you feel as if you are one with nature. A hairdryer and complimentary toiletries are also available in every room.
Restaurants and Cafes in Le Village Beach Resort
Karang Café is the on-site café at the resort. It is a laid-back café that features wood-beam ceiling and bamboo furniture. The café however only serves breakfast. There's also an open-air beach bar with a thatched roof called the Sunday Beach Bar. The bar serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and guests are invited to relax and unwind here while enjoying the view of the beach. Room Service is additionally readily available at limited hours.
Interesting Places near Le Village Beach Resort
Natural Batik Factory – Located just 400m from the resort, this batik factory is famous for creating beautiful Malaysian batik products. The factory was founded in the year 2007 by Mr Ghazali bin Che Omar. Its aim is to preserve the traditional Malaysian Batik culture in today's modern world. What started out as a hobby soon turned into a small-scale industry. Built on 2 acres of land, the factory’s products are very diverse from souvenirs, clothing, tablecloths, scarfs and many more.
Taman Teruntum Mini Zoo – The mini zoo is located 15 minutes away from the resort and is a great place for families to spend some time together. It houses a small array of animals and visitors can also rent bicycles and explore the park area freely. All visitors to the Mini Zoo will need to pay an RM2 entrance fee.
Wan Fo Tien Temple – Wan Fo Tien Temple, located 20 minutes away from the resort, is part of the Pahang Buddhist Association This temple is also known as the The Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall. The temple got its name from the 15,743 little tiles with the image of Buddha intricately carved into each piece which line the walls of the temple from top to bottom. It is truly a sight to behold.
