If you are travelling by air, the nearest airport to the hotel is the Penang International Airport (IATA: PEN, ICAO: WMKP), which is an international airport, located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Alternatively, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 are about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Lumut. It is very easy to get to Lumut by car. The North-South PLUS Highway is a modern toll road that runs from Perlis to Johor Bharu. Cangkat Jering is the nearest exit off the highway to get to Lumut. Another option is by ETS from Butterworth or KL Sentral. Nearest train to Lumut is Taiping. Trains are really convenient if you are coming from locations without express bus terminals. From the train station, you may take a metered taxi or Grab to get to the hotel.

Pangkor Island -

Pangkor Island name originated from the Thai 'Pang Ko', which means Beautiful Island. It actually concerns a group of islands with Pangkor as its main island, and next to that a trio of smaller islands: Pangkor Laut, Pulau Mentagor en Pulau Giam. Pangkor Laut is the best known of these, because of the idyllic resort you can find on this small island (with a similar name; Pangkor Laut Resort). Pangkor is a mountainous island; the highest point is at 1216 meters (Pangkor Hill). Since the main island consists of just mountains, the roads are lying in a circle around the island. The island has a number of international hotels/resorts; it can get quite busy during school and public holidays. There is no real best time to visit Pangkor; as the island is pretty much shielded by Sumatra, the weather is pretty much the same throughout the year (though it still is a tropical island).

Teluk Batik Beach

- Teluk Batik Beach is located close to the towns of Lumut and Sitiawan and facing out towards Pangkor Island, Perak's top beach destination. The beach is situated in a pleasant bay with headlands rising at each end, topped with jungle. The beach itself is fringed with coconut palms and other trees providing a good amount of shade and a tropical atmosphere. The sea water is clean and blue and the sand is soft. The huge jetty of nearby steelworks spoils the view of the horizon but this is still a good beach which is why it was quite busy on public holiday. There is a large car park available. Plus, there is a seashell museum nearby the beach. Along the beach, you may find dozens of stalls sell souvenirs, beach attire such as swimming costumes, hats and t-shirts, beach mats, inflatable balls and rubber rings as well as snacks, drinks and ice creams
